The resort is so small compared to other mods that POFQ doesn't have preferred rooms. You could probably say they are all "preferred" because everything is a relatively short walk to the pool, the food court, transportation (either bus or boat to DTD) and reception.

Your friends won't be able to take advantage of FD at all. WDW will not hold a room for them for 2 days if they do not check in in person on Nov 1. Their room would basically be released and they would not qualify for FD if checking in on Nov 3. If they stay at WDW Nov 9-10, that isn't long...

That was my reaction too. Maybe it's just a system glitch. Now it's showing me an option for a standard room only. Those are usually first to go! Oh well, thankfully not too long until GP release to find out for sure.

We got 4 separate PINs for our family and we all live at different addresses. My Sis even got 2! so we were able to book everyone in our group in separate rooms with FD. Not sure what we did to get so lucky, but I hope it goes public for others to benefit from it.
