You do not need golf cart but I would recommend that you rent it for one or two days to explore the camp and loop around specialy if you plan a day just in Fort.. Kids love it.

I did not know that you can buy dinning plan without park tickets.

Try to add one more night if you can. They have candy scramble and easter scavenger hunt on Sunday. We always look forward to it. My kids are already working on the stratergy on how to find the golden egg. We will be leaving on Monday early morning:(

Nooooo - don't do it unless if you really have to. Fort is the best campground on Earth. If you do let us know - trying to add one extra night during the Spring Break and it is not available ;).

I love coming home from work checking on how your day went! We love camping (tent) at the Fort. We almost never vist parks - just hanging out at the Fort and loving it. We are going down there at the end of March. Keep your posts comming:)

When we visited the Fort last time, we saw an RV with the giant castle underneath and the car which was parked be the trailer had Florida Tag "number" WALT DISNEY - I wonder if anyone knows the person and if there is a story to it.

We always stop by there to check all the stores and have Ice-cream. Traditionaly we pack up almost everything exept the tent the last night and then have diner at Bongos (Mojitos are fantastic) and kids pick their "dessert" in the Goofy Candy Store.
