Keep checking the website/app I was able to score a lunch reservation last night for 11/15. Last year I got a dinner reservation the same day by checking the app. A lot of people cancel the night before as well!

It's decent. I prefer it for breakfast over lunch/dinner

Depends on if you care about meeting the characters. If you are just going for the food it will take a lot less time. But if you want to meet every single character it can take some time.

The shuttle buses can be a bit of a nightmare. They fill up very fast and run a limited schedule. I've stayed here in the past and we just take the Lynx; as times are much for flexible! I would dine at 50'sPTC, way more options and it is such a fun atmosphere. And as others said above you can always go to B&C after for dessert :)

Earl of Sandwich is super yummy and at a great cost if you want something quick.

I'm staying at the Clarion Inn Lake Buena Vista. Got it at a very good price. I've stayed there before its simple and clean. They offer shuttle service to the parks, but its also walking distance to Downtown Disney. Assuming you don't mind the extra 30-40 minute walk!
