Our next trip to WDW is Jan 1- 6 (merry Christmas kids!!) and I'm trying to tweak our dinner plans....we generally prefer QS for our lunches in the park and TS for our dinners either at a park or a resort. My DH is pretty certain that he ONLY wants to do buffet meals - and while I see the pros...
I have some pickies in my group and we all loved Boma. There is some chicken there that is pretty much rotisserie chicken. It was awesome and the meat carving station was good. My pickiest child loved Boma the most if that helps at all. And he is a meat and bread eater only. :(
I know I just can't decide which park. I thought about CP, it's one of my faves but we haven't done TH and we haven't done 1900 park fare and we haven't done Ohana breakfast. We like Cape May but the kids won't want to do Epcot for last morning.
We are planning a Feb 2015 trip with my extended family (13 total). We are doing the following schedule....
Sat arrival day ~ MK dinner at Chef Mickey's
Sun ~ HS breakfast at H&V (we have several small kids)
Mon ~ AK dinner at Boma
Tues ~ EP dinner at Akershus
Wed ~ MK dinner at Ohana...
I didn't think it was bad. The food was pretty good. I thought it was loud but I didn't expect it to be quiet. We plan to go back next time we are there because the kids loved it. If you have young kids, I would definitely recommend it. If we didn't have kids, we would probably not go back...
Just wanted to say that we recently returned from our first trip and we LOVED FP+. Loved it! We had an amazing trip and everything went smoothly. I learned so much from this board. We booked our FP+ 60 days out and arranged up until the moment we stepped into queue lines. We figured out...
We were just there and went to both places for dinner. I'm literally craving Boma now that we are home! RFC was fine, the atmosphere was good and the food was ok, we just really loved Boma. And we decided this trip that the buffets are best for us. You get to try more and it's so much...
We had two sets and brought both with us, but were told that one set would work thru the entire stay. It was all good. Kept one set out and used them they whole time and had our kttw cards in our bag for backup (needed at our resort laundry room only) and all went great. The second set is...
We just got back and all used the bands and all loved the bands. They weren't uncomfortable at all. No one complained about wearing them and it was so convenient. DH said he wished he had a magic band for every day life.
I was at MK last night and it was awful! I'm still in shock over the crowds. We go back on Thursday for the Halloween party and I'm dreading it. I know it should be less people, but right now I'm just not looking forward to it. We did HS today and had breakfast at H&V at 8 and were able to...
We arrive in WDW on Saturday! So excited! We have forever thought we would do a waterpark on the last day we are there (Thursday the 24th) but have decided instead to do the Halloween party that night and just a park that morning for a little while. This is our schedule right now:
Sat AK
Sun...
Good idea about the bed protector - another idea is to get those good night pads. They're big and they stick to the sheets. If one gets wet just chunk it and use another. They come in packs of 9 and sold near the pullups. We have a bedwetter too. Totally feel ya! ;).
I was thinking about this today....we are constantly out of toilet paper. I feel like I always buy it and every single bathroom is always out of it! We go thru about 8 rolls a week - at least!! Family of 5 and we are here a lot. DH and I both work from home.
Omg, that was awesome!!! We have dinner at Boma one night in a few weeks and I've been wondering the same thing. I love all these tips!!! Wonderful.....thanks!!
We are in MS (desoto county) and our kids are at a catholic school there - they will be out oct 11 and 14. I had planned on WDW that week but changed for free dining the next week.
