My boyfriend and I were there that day and I can say for a fact that the whole park didn't close at 7. Fantasyland maybe did(don't pay much attention to that land this trip) but the rest was open until 8. Hell, we re-entered the park at 7:30ish to ride Indy one more time so that kinda proves it...

From what I've read, the only reason the Matterhorn is open right now and not doing its scheduled safety check is because Space is down. As soon as Space goes back up, Matterhorn goes down for the checks they wanted to perform. And there are rumors that Space might be down until July.

Well to start with, Disney closed the ride of their own accord from all that I've read, so they aren't FORCED to leave them closed. But it is strange that they would open it for a few hours. :confused3
