Because both shows are only on select days, I would suggest you try to view both the Castle Stage show and the Gazebo show on that sunday, and try avoiding the longer lines. That way you'll have another full day to enjoy the rides with less crowds :)

I think there is an option when you book to select which building you'd like to stay (for the right price ofcourse...)

Captain Hook & Maleficent

Sounds very promising, but I don't see the point of a 2-park ticket for just a day. IOA is more than enough for a full day. Other than that, this might be the solution for the crowds to split up into both parks.

It always helps killing the time before leaving. But I like planning everything since I can be quite last-minute on some things. (Chargers, camera and such...) But then again, those are the best days to be at work I guess :)

I had the luck of experiencing an 11-night with daily excursions on the mediterranean. And it didn't feel like 1 day too long. By the time you have to leave ship, you will know the waiters, bartenders, other staff and vice versa. That makes leaving the hardest part on a Disney Cruise.

We missed the Flag ceremony because of this. They moved the flag to the left during the time the stage was there, or still is.

I've never understood the current location of the FOTLK theater in the first place. It never made any sense. The Avatar addition would have an extra dimension if it was finished along with an Avatar sequel though. Seeing the first movie lose a little more hype each day since it's release.
