Yeah, I agree mostly with this. My own mother practically abandoned me for roaming Mickey Mouse at the MK back in 1975. :) I would never expect to see any major character roaming the Park like they used to. Our ridiculous culture just can't handle that now. :rolleyes2 I'm thinking more...

I wish Disney would just ban autographs altogether. A hug and a picture is plenty, and it would help speed up those ridiculous lines. ...and maybe allow more roaming characters like we used to see in the Parks.

This is true, because they no longer have "Alfredo's" as their anchor restaurant. That place was excellent.

I guess what I'm saying, is that the title of this thread should be changed. It presents information like it is fact, but it is not. It is misleading, and hurts the credibility of this site - even though it's a rumor board.

It seems obvious that Star Tours will be going away, but also a mistake that there are only 2 attractions in the new land. Seems like more of a "mini" land to me. It would have made sense to at least relocate ST to the new area.

Biergarten is the only restaurant at all of WDW that I must go to every time I'm there. I loooooooooooove that room, and the oom-pa band. :) ...and they have salad, roast beef, roast chicken and roast potatoes on the buffet, along side more "german" fare. You can't find something to eat...

In 1938, this wasn't a "Disney" thing, but a worldwide thing. In fact, it's still that way in much of the world outside of "the west." Don't think ill of Disney for this. At least they gave women the opportunity to work as Inker or Painters. Frankly, I'm surprised at that.
