I didn't talk about check in :). We did not do online check in but it was super quick. Someone actually greeted us by name as we got off the bus. We joked it was like magic. Best guess is someone from DME notifies each resort with who is on their way and they had it all waiting for us.

I would look into getting a car it taxi service to your resort. It took us two hours from the time we landed until we go to our resort last month. You can still use Magical Express for our return trip to the airport.

This is a great thread! A former co-worker went on her honeymoon about a year or two before I did. She said Disney food was terrible and they had chicken fingers all week. I don't think I've gotten chicken fingers once in 4 trips.
