Good/Bad Internet and eBay Pin Sellers

I received a pin from disneytradingpins4u earlier this week as well. It was one of the New Fantasyland mystery box pins I have been trying to find. Looked legitimate to me: pattern on the back was good, new Mickey back, etc. Arrived on Friday, and wasn't expected until tomorrow, which was nice.

Glad to hear such good things about Coronado Springs. We are headed there in December for the first time. Thanks for the information!

New guidelines - December CANCELLED ADR Thread - Read 1st Post

Update: 12/22 12:05p Mama Melrose Fantasmic is actually now an opening for 12. We changed our mind about that one, so it's out there for someone who'd like to skip the line for the early Fantasmic show. ---- Currently on hold, and will be releasing some seats from our ADRs between 12/18-23. We...

Will you ever stay at a mod/value ever again?

Our only onsite experiences so far have been Swan and POFQ. Both were great. We especially loved how compact everything is at POFQ: easy access to the main building/bus stop, and to the boat to DTD. Heading to CSR in December. Since our DSs are big (13yo is 6'1"), we wanted to be somewhere...

Good/Bad Internet and eBay Pin Sellers

Interesting timing, as I just received a pin from kiljoy667 this afternoon, my first purchase from him. It was a Belle 100 years of Dreams, as I've always wanted a pin with Belle in her blue dress. (I'm just a sucker for a girl who reads.) It looks to be in good shape, but not TOO good, you...

    Undercover Tourist

We just returned from WDW, and used 5 day tickets we purchased through UCT. No issues at all, they were the same tickets we might have purchased directly through Disney. Their turnaround time was good, although we ordered in advance to beat the price increase. I would expect they are equally...

Ever do a timeshare for free park tickets?

It's like a higher-stakes game of keeping telemarketers on the phone as long as possible, so they can't move on to the next names on their list!

Ever do a timeshare for free park tickets?

Yes it does! Of course, they're 11 and 13 now, so we can't play that card anymore.:confused3

    Photopass and Star Wars Weekends

When we went to SWW last year, there was a photographer just outside Darth's Mall (near RnRC) taking photos where you stood with a lightsaber as though fighting. Later, they superimposed Darth Vader in a battle with you. Definitely not something you can do with your own camera!

    when to SURPRISE the kids??

We've surprised our DSs twice: First time was Christmas 2006. They boys opened a box from Santa. Inside they found a letter from Santa telling them we were staying at the Swan, as well as some Disney Dollars for each. Second time was summer 2008. Made last minute plans for WDW instead of a...

Ever do a timeshare for free park tickets?

Our first family trip to MK was on a stay at Vistana Villages in exchange for a decent rate and cash equivalent to the price of four one-day tickets. DW, DS2 and DS4 (now 11 and 13) and I spent time at DTD one day, then visited MK the next. It was the first visit for everyone but me. On our...

CURRENT Good/Bad Internet and eBay Pin Sellers

AliceandAriel, I recently posted about a lot of 25 (4 sets) from bizzybee1. The sets were all new, sealed in their packages with Disney price tags inside. Basically $2/pin, which is less than half the sticker price. We're all set to trade on our next trip! Hope you have as much success!

Can Someone Explain a Bit of Pin-Trading Etiquette To Me?

We found a couple of pin books last summer in places where we had not seen them before. One was in one of the stores along the left side of Suset Blvd as you head toward ToT & RnRC. The other was when we went to AKL Kidani for lunch at Sanaa. The shop is called Johari Treasures if I recall...

    Age for no stroller needed?

We've never used a stroller in the park. That goes all the way back to our first time, when DSs were 2 and 4. Then again, both our DSs were big enough that they rode Space Mtn on that trip, so our experience is probably not typical. Of course, that means I've always had a backpack, too.

Thanks. We'll have to try to check that out on the next trip, I guess.

Does anyone know if you can watch the fireworks from the catwalk during the renovation? I haven't been anywhere on top of Contemporary since 1975, so I'm completely unfamiliar with the layout.

CURRENT Good/Bad Internet and eBay Pin Sellers

I wasn't sure if this was intended for me or haveamagicalday2, but I'm presuming not me. I'm in good shape, pixiewings71. Those pins that we are going to trade were purchased for exactly that reason; DS getting a couple of Stitch pins in the lot was just lucky for him. I am just glad the list...
