What Would You Do (or Have You Done) Solo?

Animal kingdom is great solo! Just wandering all the paths and taking it easy is fun. Going to the MK and riding my favorites, though I did look pretty pitiful in the photo from Pirates in a seat all by myself. I enjoyed it though. I laugh to myself watching children melt down and...

    50s Prime Time seating....

We have been three times now and every time it has been near a TV. You can ask them when you sign in, get there about 15 minutes early. They will try to oblige you. The food was delicious and our servers were so much fun!

    ***Official Jan 2018 Thread****

Darn.. My daughter makes the best faces for the pictures on Splash Mountain... She winds up looking like Jeff Dunhams old guy puppet. It scares the bejezzus out of her!

It Takes Two, Baby; a 2017 Flower and Garden dining report *NEW dining report!*

My daughter and I are planning a Liberty Tree Tavern lunch and I was wondering if you know how much the Patriots Platter is. The salad looked like something I would like though. Thanks! Excellent photos by the way. I am going to look for Zilly next time.

What is your Disney shameful secret?

I'm 62 and an Annual Passholder I love my solo Disney trips. I camp in the back of my truck at Fort Wilderness, go early, stay late, park hop, eat Mickey bars for breakfast and use single rider lines where available! Going with my grown daughter for four days in a couple months and can't...

What is your Disney shameful secret?

Rule breakers drive me insane! Ex : letting kids walk on walls and pull on plants, putting people in lines to meet up with towards the front, etc.

    Epcot QS Favourites

La Cantina de San Angel, Les Halles and Sunshine Season are my favorite places. But all the places mentioned are good.

What to do with a day alone?

I have been a few times alone, even camped at Fort Wilderness. I threw a futon mattress in the back of the truck and slept like a baby :) You can seriously see a lot and do a lot alone. I saw quite a few things I never noticed because no one was saying, look at that Grandmom! ( Though I...

    Disney's left me in tears...

I have sent emails when I have had outstanding CM's. You can also write your complaint to this address. I don't know if you noted their name. I try to always take names and notes anymore when dealing with any customer service. compose an email to Disney Guest Services...

What would you never miss doing?

I never miss going to Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion. I like all the rides, except Space Mountain because it is too jerky. I just did a two day solo trip and got to do so much! I love to eat at Tusker House and 1900 Park Fare. The Nutella Waffle at Sleepy Hollow is awesome...

    Plantar Fascitis Shoe Suggestions?

Besides the frozen water bottle and Epsom salt soaks, rolling my foot on a tennis ball, standing and using pressure, helped the most. I hate doctors and shots, so I did this as much as possible. Ibuprofen was my other friend. All better now. Hope you feel better soon.

Over-rated food that you have tried...

Well, all the dislikes for zebra domes made me decide to skip that side trip. I'll just get a Napoleon from France :)

Newbie Disney Nerd in seek of advice

My hubby isn't a Disney fan either. We went with DD, DSIL, and family. He had a wonderful time. When the 15 year old grandson had enough family time, which happens with three younger siblings, him and Pop would head back the resort to chill for awhile. We all did the MNSSHP, it was...

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, what if it rains?

We bought our MNSSHP tickets when they went on sale for our visit in 13. It rained and the show was cancelled and the parade was delayed, we gave up and took the kids for candy. We bought them in advance for MVMCP last year and it rained. The parade was delayed while we waited for two hours...

Disney's FORT WILDERNESS CABINS & CAMPGROUNDS Information & Questions

Thanks. We never waited long at any other resort for a bus. I guess I'm just nervous because my daughter usually is the organizer and I just go with the flow.
