I already have the time allotted for the rental car check-in and security, so it really is 6 hours of play time.

Ooh, that's a good idea, defiantly an option...... Scary traffic is the exact reason I want to stay within 30 minutes of the airport. I know 30 can turn into 60 quickly.

Once our repo cruise is done in September, we will have 6 hours to kill before we have to be at the Long Beach Airport. We are renting a car. Does anybody have any recommendations on what to do? No theme parks and we want to stay within 30 minutes of the airport.

Thanks everybody. Now that I know the "costumes" will be worn all evening, I have no problem splurging on them for the kids.

Being from WA, my advice is layers. I plan on bringing a handful of cardigans and sweaters to layer over my tops.

On pirate night, do you wear your pirate clothes to dinner at the MDR or wait until the party later?

Has anybody that took the train into Vancouver also traveled with alcohol? Just wondering if there are any restrictions on Amtrak or at the border. I looked online and couldn't find any restrictions so I am hoping I am worrying over nothing.

We are taking our first Disney cruise next month. It's the 5 night repositioning cruise out of Vancouver. My kids are 16, 4, and 2. Reading all the posts and weeding through the info is a bit overwhelming. I was hoping that some more experienced cruisers can give me advice on the things to do...

Can you request special seating and link cabins online or do you have to call DCL?

You are joking right? I can't imagine not helping if I could, especially if it hasn't been used in almost 10 years.
