So to summarize: checked in 11/30 at POFQ and received KTTW cards. Today on 12/1 in EPCOT, my family used FP+ on the MB's AND I pulled paper FP- tickets on the KTTW cards. Worked great! I also tried old KTTW cards from a prior trip and they did NOT work in the FP- machines. Hope that helps!

I am REALLY glad to hear this! We're leaving for POFQ in 12 days and I'm going to ask for KTTW cards as backups. Our friends went in October and had multiple MB problems in the parks, from delayed entry to her husband's FP+ being nonexistent on his band. He wasted HOURS at various park kiosks...
