Opens at 11. We got on line about 10:40 about 3 Sundays ago.the door opens, the entire staff (chefs, everyone!) is there when the door opens to welcome people. Cute. We were out of there by 11:20. Goes quick.

Was just there last week - never saw even one chef Mickey guest try to get on the hotel guest elevators. No issues!

There was a closure scheduled from 3/4-3/15, but I haven't heard whether it began or not - Disney or the poly will not confirm! I switched to the CR for our trip next week because I didn't want to take a chance. I assume they'll complete whatever maintenance by April 12th. It's just yearly...

oh, just to clarify...didn't mean that we waited for the boat for 45 minutes -- meaning, you walk out of your room, head down to the bus/boat and all of a sudden it's nearly an hour later door to door to MK if you had 'just missed' the bus/boat.

I can only speak for the WL...you can see MK, but if you 'just miss' the boat or bus when you walk outside, we had trips to MK that took 45 minutes from the time we walked out of the hotel to MK...not really that convenient unless you are lucky enough to get the bus/boat super quick. Also...I...

My kids will go in the pool no matter what -- I'm just hoping to be able to happily sit by it, and not in jeans! --- 70 is great, 60's is a little chilly...I won't be actually getting in a pool unless we see 80 (unlikely!!)

How accurate do you think a 15 day forecast is??? Wah, scheduled to be in the LOW 60's when we are there in less than 2 weeks! We're there early march 2011 and it was 70 at most. Brrrr mornings. And rain. Was hoping to be warm!

PS...my curiosity about the Polynesian pool refurbishment is how I started posing for help as well...:))) so far I've gotten SO many good tips about all types of things!!

Disney will never give the 100% story. It looks like the Polynesian pool may (or may not) be closed next week --- they told me no for sure, but told my travel agent it's 50/50. To be safe, I switched hotels ---- I couldn't get a 100% guarantee.
