Advice for Planning 1st Trip to DW

Hello! Fellow DL vet who now goes to the World! Here are my suggestions: There is no longer a real slow/low attendance period at DW with great weather. Based on what you said I would suggest October (great weather and moderate crowds), May ( good weather, but can be hot, moderate crowds), or...

What does a WDW vet need to know about DISNEYLAND?

As a DL vet who has visited the World numerous times I can definitely give you some suggestions. 1)You really need at least 2 days, 3 days is ideal. You will not want to miss CA especially with Cars Land. CA is a completely different park than anything at DW. I think you would enjoy it...

    CBR reburb official..

Here is the link from Intercot http://www.intercot.com/discussion/showthread.php?t=198185 The post is not from 1999, that was the OP original join date note. This is most definitely from 2013. On a side note, I wish the rooms were more colorful and bright to carry on the theme of the rest...

8 nights at WL or 12 nights at POR?

We went with children almost exactly the same age as yours. I had DH, DS6 and DS 9months. I would really recommend going for the longer stay, no question about it. We stayed for 8 days, 7 nights and would have loved to have more time. We had a wonderful time, don't get me wrong. With an...

What's your favorite village to stay in ar CBR?

If you are not staying preferred or in a pirate room, both Aruba and Jamaica are wonderful! Both are right across the bridge from Old Port Royale (dining and main pool). It's an easy 5 min walk that is beautiful! Also, the bus routes usually pick up Jamaica first, Aruba second and then make...

Planning our first trip to WDW!

How exciting to be planning your 1st WDW trip! Tons of fun to plan, but can be a bit overwhelming. To answer your first question on how long to stay. I say stay as long as you can afford to stay! The longer the better, especially since you don't plan on returning anytime soon. My first ever...

CBR ~ Is sandcastle building possible?

Absolutely! Just note that you may not go into the water, but are more than welcome to play in the sand as much as you would like. Also, one other note, the kid's meal at the food court (OPR) is served in a sand bucket with a shovel. My kids loved them. Have a great time!

    World instead of Land...

Without knowing the ages of your children, it's hard to respond as to which resort would fit your needs better. :confused3 I personally would choose a moderate over a value (even with the value being new). I like the more relaxed atmosphere of the moderates after a long day at the parks. If...

    Moderate opinions needed!

CBR would be my recommendation. Your 7 and 9 year old will LOVE the pool area, especially compared to the pool at POFQ. While some say the size of CBR is a negative, we love that it's more spread out. The landscaping is so beautiful and relaxing. It never seems crowded either. You can pay...

    Nervous about CBR Resort!

We LOVE CBR!!! I'm sure you'll have a great time. My kids had a blast at the kiddie pool and bigger pool. We've never encountered any issues with our rooms being worn down. It's a very peaceful relaxing resort. As long as you are aware that a moderate resort at Disney has outdoor corridors...

    Spreading Magic

I'd do a pack for the car and include some Disney Cash in each bag. My kids LOVED having their own special Disney money to spend. We bought the $1 bills so the kids could buy their own snacks or save up for a special souvenir.

    baby carrier

Baby Bjorn is the most comfortable to me...however, with the heat in May in FL we found both my husband and I, and our DS (8 months at the time), were much more comfortable having DS in the stroller than a carrier. It was REALLY hot when we were there in early May so having an infant right...

    Car seats

Hello! We took our 6yo DS and 8 mo DS in May as well. Had our car seat for the 8 month old, never used it once while at Disney. You'll be just fine:) There really is no way to use a car seat on the Disney Transportation. On a side note, make sure your stroller is easy to fold-up, as you...
