Kids would prefer WS I think. It's traditional putt putt golf. FG is like a real golf course just smaller. We found it very difficult and not very enjoyable.
If you can do both, I would. My kids are teens and ride lovers as well and they now prefer Universal to Disney for rides. And even if you aren't Potter fans, the rides there are definitely worth the time.
It would be the week starting June 28th and there would be 5 of us. Do any on site rooms allow 5 people without the cost of a suite? Youngest is 16 years.
My family has only been to Universal Studios once. I want to spend 2 days there this summer as an offshoot to our Daytona week at the beach. I know summer will be crazy busy and wanted to stay at least one night at US to get the express passes. However, the cost per night is far over my...
We didn't love the Boardwalk. No quick service food options except the bakery. Many of the rooms are a long long walk from the main entrance. Not worth the price for us. If I were doing deluxe, I'd do Wilderness Lodge.
We were there on a 10 crowd day. We walked up with no reservations at 10:45 a.m. and only waited for 5 min. The food was OK not great. I was with 2 teenage boys so they weren't impressed with the decor! Ha! It won't be a must do for us anymore.
When we went the week of Thanksgiving, we found low crowds until the day before Thanksgiving. Then it was super busy. We loved it because we got to see all of the Christmas decorations.
I don't like scary coasters and I love love EE. It appears to have a steep drop but actually doesn't. If he can do Space Mtn, I'm sure he can ride Everest.
We were there a few weeks ago during the worst crowds. Like you, we didn't have park hoppers. We always took advantage of EMH in the morning. We rode everything multiple times and were done by 12:30 or so. That was with a 7 am EMH. Then we came back and took a nap. We could go back in the...
Soft drinks, water, coffee, tea, and powerade and hot chocolate are the ones I remember. We had the dining plan, so we got a bottled drink with our meal which we took back to the room for later.
