With only 3 days I would skip Epcot and do HS. Our 5 year old LOVED HS, he liked EPCOT but I would have to choose HS over EPCOT

    Mickey Mail

We booked through AAA, our TA received our information and I went and picked it up. She offered to mail it but I wanted to pick it up. In the "Mickey mail" there were coupons and what not.

DHS planning- please help this newbie! UPDATE post #23

We got there before rope drop and went strait to Jedi training, the first opening they had was at 2pm. So it really just depends. After we signed up we were able to walk right on star tours 2 times in a row without any wait.

    Spending money?

We brought 1,000 with us for a family if 3, we had more than enough. But a lot of that went to tips for dinner, we were on the DDP, but when you figure in you have to tip on what the meal would have cost it gets pricy. We stayed for 8 days. Probably game home with about $200 left over so for a...

    How much do you tip?

How much do you tip your hair dresser. Let's say your cut, color and eyebrow wax comes to $80 what's a good tip amount? This isn't like a fantastic SAMs or anything like that. It's a shop where she rents out her booth and makes her own prices. Sorry this isn't exactly Disney related. Thanks in...

I had no trouble at all on the rides or the busses and I run about the same sizes. Just depends on the brand and cut.

    Jedi Training Academy Tips

Last June we got there at rope drop. Booked it to the signing and our time was at 430 PM. I would try and get there extra extra early. By no means were we in the front of the rope drop line but it pays to get there earlier in morning so they don't run out of spots.

    Please critique our Itin

I'm not sure I would FP star tours. We got there at rope drop ( same time as you last year) we waited in line to sign up for the Jedi academy and then walked right on to star tours 2 times with no wait.. I would FP Peter Pan, the wait in the morning was around 90 minutes.

    The Everything Pooh Sized Thread

I went in June and I am 6'1 and a size 24. I rode with my 4 year old son who is about as tall as a 5 or 6 year old but only weighs 49 pounds. I don't think you would have a problem. You will be able to tell more when you are in line you can see the carts going around. We didn't have any issues...

    Disney in July?

We have a family trip planned at Madeira Beach for the last week in July. We wanted to try and drive up to Disney for a day trip to MK. I took a look at touring plans and found the least crowded day for that week. We have never been in July, we went last year mid June. Can anyone give me any...

    Chef Mickey?

We went in June last year, we had the DDP, but they still bring you the receipt showing the total cost for you to tip. For 2 adults and 1 kid it was over $100. It was ok. But I am not a big breakfast fan. If I had to pay OOP for that I would probably have been disappointed.

Have never flown with children before, can you help me with a couple of ?s

Hi! We flew with our 4 now 5 year old over the summer. We did not have to provide any documents for him. On the safe side maybe being a copy of their birth certificates. We flew with delta, I had called and they said we didn't need to provide any sort of ID. But better safe than sorry. As far...

Any experiences with early arrival and check-in?

We went to Disney for our Honeymoon this past June. We arrived at our hotel around 11am VIA magical express. Our room was actually available to check in to. Per our TA and a Disney Rep, we could have checked our backs in with the hotel and had full access to all of our resorts amenities. Good...
