Is it rude to ask guests to attend/pay for a destination wedding?

When I first started telling people I was getting married in Disney I had one person ask me why I would do that to people. I get that it's a big ask, but I told everyone if they cant, then there's no hard feelings and that I wanted to extend the invite because I would be happy if they could...

Overly Keen Not Quite Yet Bride-to-be

We've been together for 3 years. It went by very quickly haha. That's a good idea. I wish I could go to Disney every year. It's such a fun place to go. Thanks for the website! I'm glad I got to see that, it really helped me out. It's funny I actually just bought that book last night...

Overly Keen Not Quite Yet Bride-to-be

It's really far back? I didn't know that. I just really love Fantasmic and would like for my family and friends to see it. But maybe we will just go to the park and head there early to get good seats. Hawaii sounds nice, I'm personally not a fan of flying though haha. I was thinking about...

Help me decide: Pop Century, A of A, PO Riverside - Royal, or Contemporary

With four people going then I'd definitely suggest AoA. Though it is more expensive than the other value resorts. I guess it all depends on how much you're willing to spend. In my own opinion, it's worth splurging on.

I agree 100%! If you don't like walking much, you might want to stay in the Finding Nemo or Lion King suites. *Oops, didn't mean to post twice :p

Overly Keen Not Quite Yet Bride-to-be

I am definitely in the same boat as you! I know I'll be getting a ring this year, which is why I went into this whole wedding frenzy. I'd actually like to know what other people think about having different locations. I want my ceremony at the Wedding Pavilion, the reception I'm still undecided...

All Star Resorts or Art of Animation???

I stayed at the Art of Animation last August and I never had a problem with any noise. The food court was busy at times, but that's just when you plan to eat at less busy times. The Lion King and Finding Nemo suites aren't too far from the main building so if you mind walking, those would be the...

Help me decide: Pop Century, A of A, PO Riverside - Royal, or Contemporary

I stayed at Art of Animation last August, right after the Lion King Suite opened and I thought it was amazing. When I went, it wasn't as busy as I had thought it would be. I'd recommend anyone to stay there.
