    Oga's Cantina at HS

We went in October 2022 and it is a once and done for us but we are glad we went. It was very cool experience and the staff was lovely, DH knocked over his drink after one sip and they immediately replaced it (we were seated at the bar). The guy at the front also entertained my kids as wer...

DDP seems worth it for us?

I have done Disney with and without the DDP and the fact that the dining plan is back is one of the things that pushed us over the edge to plan another trip. I would never go back without the dining plan because I spent too much time analyzing every single purchase and I cancelled reservations...

    DDP Experiences 2024

So not with the DDP but we bought mugs on our last trip, which was a split stay and I assumed we’d only be able to use them for the first resort, but they are good for the whole trip.

The last resort you stayed at and the next resort you are staying at? and what year?

AKL in 2022 and either CBR or POR in 2024 or 2025 (we are still figuring out the exact timeline). I would never stay at AKL again, it was nice but not worth the cost for me.

If not for bad luck, there wouldn't be any luck at all( my Shingles story)

Yes. The rash is usually the last symptom, which sucks because the antiviral has to be given really quickly to work. I had shingles last year and at first I thought I had hurt my hip as the pain started after a long day of walking carrying a heavy bag. But it just kept getting worse. Three...

With all the price increases is it worth even going?

I'm in Ontario. The annual passes do reduce the cost (the price of going twice) but we live far enough away that either wr are doing 5 hours of driving in one day or paying $200 for a hotel room + gas and other expenses. The per trip cost of tickets would go down, but the other expenses...

With all the price increases is it worth even going?

We are sporadic Disney visitors, this is our second (and probably last until we have grown children) trip. The total breakdown with food + souvenirs will be about $300 a day per person. I went to Chicago last month for 4 days and spent $1500 by myself (and ghat was with splitting a room with...

Amorette’s Patisserie Cake Decorating Experience Returns to Disney Springs

That is seriously cool. If this wasn’t a family trip, I would 1000% sign up.

Salt and Straw samples often contain less “bread” than a scoop does

I am looking forward to going to The Salt snd Straw next week when we are there. My husband looked at the menu and decided for that cost he’ll get ice cream elsewhere 😂. I love weird food, he does not.

    Why mix up resorts?

We are packing two separate suitcases, one for each hotel. So that will help a bit. I am one of those people who has to put my clothes away even if I am only going away for a night, so the packing and unpacking doesn't phase me.

WOW!! Standard Passport Renewal - 3 1/2 weeks!!

Lucky! My mom and xhildren's passports arrived two weeks ago after 5 months. We are driving, so the kids passports weren't urgent but we were getting stressed about my mom's.

    Why mix up resorts?

We are doing it for cost and convenience. My mom really wants to stay at AKL but it is more remote + deluxe, so we are staying there for the final 3 nights of our stay and AoA the first few nights of our stay, saving a ton of money but also having skyliner access for those days.

Akershus Royal Banquet Hall - NOW OPEN!!

I went 7 years ago. It was skrh it then, but again I loved the Smorgasbord. We did see a ton of princesses and the review I read here shows that hasn't changed, seems like 5 princesses.

Akershus Royal Banquet Hall - NOW OPEN!!

It was hybrid. You picked individual entrees and the dessert was family-style but the appetizers was a giant salad bar of cold cits, fruit, veggies, smoked fish, etc and it was delicious, the best part of ghe meal.

Person Who Made the Reservation has to be there?

Thanks everyone! When I made the reservation I assumed we would all be going but as we fine-tune plans, I rewlized it made more sense for them to head back to the hotel.
