Yes you have to walk, but the LM rooms are both extreme and unnecessary. When coupled with being nearly the last bus stop at every park, you start to feel punished for choosing that resort.
Two little changes would make a big difference to the layout:
1. Drink Station by the little...
The walk is pretty rough after a day of theme parking. It's bad enough to make the refillable resort cups completely useless, and compounded by AoA's position towards the end of every bus station.
It is the reason I won't be going back.. It's a nice resort, the theme is fun.. but that walk...
Just got back from a 5 night trip at Art of Animation in the Little Mermaid section.
This was my first on site stay in nearly 10 years, and my wife's first ever, but we've been plenty of times off site. I'm a former Disneyland AP holder with an arm full of attraction based tattoos, my wife...
I'm doing sittings about once a month, but as the outlines finish up and we're able to work in sections now, I'll probably start doing them a little more often.
I'm really excited about filling in "Jose".
I love the idea of club 33, but I've never been. If I ever go I'll get something.

Btw for the uninitiated, this is only about 5 hours of work. I'll be sitting for a 3-4 hour session every month for the next several months to complete this. Everything will be shaded, detailed, and full color.
I'm well underway on my Disneyland half sleeve tattoo. As you can see I've got my doombuggy, Jose the parrot, the sign from Jungle cruise, and the auctioneer all in progress. My inner arm will be the small world clock tower, and the castle will be topping off my shoulder. I have a nice space...
It's really worth having a car in LA, you can rent pretty cheap from someone like rent a wreck if you're not concerned with having a "new" car. That way you dont' have to worry about dents, etc.
I've done the vegas trip a few times. It's an easy drive, under 5 hours most days, but last time I got caught in a forest fire and had to detour through the national forest up and over mountains which was friggin scary and added an extra three hours.
