What do you have on your pancakes??

Last time we were in Bangkok my wife ordered one of these from a street seller and says it was the best she's ever tasted, even though it sounds weird. It was made with coconut milk and the filling was cheese, ham, jam and chilli sauce !

OK Girlies.....What is your favourite perfume?

Why only girlies ? Surely that's one for the men too. My personal favourite is Happy.

    I feel so down today!!!

Isn't that what insurance is for ? It gets nicked, you get a new one. Oh, and even though I only drive a Honda I always drive with the doors locked.

Things to do before you die ?

Kaylee, this is just a pipe-dream, but we all need dreams. I'll never achieve even half of these, especially as I've got 2 daughters and a wife who love to shop.. So what have I achieved ? So from the 79 things to do I've done these; Swim with dolphins. I watched my girls do this at Discovery...

    How about an F1 thread

Just seen a website report saying that Jaguar are pulling out of F1. Where does that leave DC and Anthony Davidson ?

Things to do before you die ?

No problem, F1 is my second favourite subject (after travel). I'd dearly love to spend a year following the F1 circus around the world, but it's the cost. Think about the number of things on my list I could achieve. Anyhow, back to F1. Personally I wish MS would retire ands give the rest a...

    Restaurant Opinions

Food, my favourite subject. Here goes; Rainforest Café at AK is DIRE. Don't believe anything they're telling you. The service was awful both times we visited (thought the 1st time was an off day). Although you do get big portions the air-conditioning is set so low that the food is cold before...

Things to do before you die ?

I thought I'd write a list of things to do before I die. I've already achieved some of these, like falling in love, but thought it was worth including. So, have I missed anything ? Swim with dolphins. Walk my daughters up the aisle. Bungee Learn to swim Travel by dog sled Spend a night...

    Buffet breakfasts (offsite chains)

Buffets are OK but a little restrictive. Seems an odd thing to say, but that's my view. Buffets aren't the cheapest option either. We all liked GC, but we prefered IHOP and Bob Evans. Better food, better selection, better service and better prices. On the other hand the kids enjoyed having ice...

PB & J ? Try syrup and cheese. Sounds disgusting but it's actually quite nice.

    busch gardens

Busch Gardens is one of my favourite parks. There is a lot more there than Animal Kingdom, although they aren't as slick as Disney. You don't say how old your daughter is but if she's under 10 there's a great kids play area. Rhino Rally is better than Kilimanjaro Safari in my opinion. My...

    Selling / Buying Houses..HELP!

Keep calm, it's just like a game. Estate agents deserve the bad press they get most of the time. You must remember that the agent works for the seller, not the buyer. they probably made the offer to "encourage" the seller to reduce their price. I guess you're tied into your agent for some...

Your top 13 eating places are....

OK, if you have to eat at the parks be aware that the prices are high when compared to the quality and service. MK - Crystal Palace. Food OK, character interaction good. Go for lunch. Epcot - Refuse to visit the park again (too long to explain). AK - Take your own food. MGM - 50's Prime...

    Locking luggage

I have to comment on this. On my last trip BACK to the UK there were a lot of damaged cases on the carousel. Most were taped together with "US Security" or something similar printed on them. I believe that they will cut off padlocks or cable ties if they need to access the contents. My advise...

how do you cope with jet lag?

Bit stronger than I'd jave put it but hey I agree with your sentiments. Jetlag is an accepted medical condition. Don't forget that some people can't sleep on planes so effectively they're going over a day without sleep. Personally, I consider myself unfit to drive, and even though it's a pain I...
