We were on the last cruise out of Galveston this past January. On the 3rd day, the waves were awful and the wind was so bad that they closed the decks til the next morning. I wonder if the weather in late November will be any better? FWIW, we sailed to Cozumel and the weather was warm :)

I'm so excited DCL is coming back to Galveston!! We have a cruise booked next July out of PC, FL but will hopefully be moving it to the week of Thanksgiving 2015!! Love the thought of not having to make the drive to Florida!! Yea!!

We just got off of the Wonder. They only allowed 2 items per stateroom to be signed- so I left 2 pillowcases .. I took our photo mat to the characters and got my own signatures. It worked out great. Also our drinks (we had ones with alcohol in them) weren't free at the sailaway party You...

We went on our first DCL trip last month - we ate brunch at Palo and it was amazing!! Totally would do it again!!

Tervis is a great choice. However, if you touch/hold them with sunscreen on your hands, it messes up the finish.

I'm taking my iPhone to use to take pics, but not for anything else. Is there a way to turn it off so I can't get any calls or texts? A surprise phone bill would not be a good thing ;)

We are on our way to our port and just realized the luggage tags didn't get put on our suitcases. Will there be blanks ones we can write on when we get to the terminal?

My kids each have a pillowcase that we'll be dropping off to get signed. The pillowcases are white.. What should I give the CM's to sign them with? Sharpie or fabric marker? Does one hold up better in the wash - doesn't fade and/ or the color smear when washed? Thanks for your input
