I maybe wrong, but I Blieve the royal rooms r closer than the standard rooms, @ least we were

4got 2 add ... @ POR we got Mickey towels everyday, but @ AoA, we didn't-only the 1st day upon checkin. (It was a Mickey w/ 2 cars). I no 4 sum ppl this is a big deal than 2 others, but thought i'd mention it

The theming at AoA is absolutely wonderful! So if u have time, I'd recommend visiting! But I'd have 2 agree w/ the previous poster. The Murphy bed is fine for 2 kids, but would be tight 4 2 adults. The pull out sofa, again, fine 4 kids, but would be tight 4 adults. The buses from AoA were better...

We stayed n a cars suite over the summer. The grounds r wonderful @ AoA so if u have the time, it's definitely worth a walk thru. The size was also nice, especially after being on the Dream. But the towels were TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!! they were so paper thin, the only way we managed was using 2 towels...

Thanks for all the quick responses! :thumbsup2 I think we're going to go with the private car service AND purchasing some snacks @ POR that morning. We'll be arriving the Thursday before the Sunday departure so we'll be @ POR for quite a few days. I'm sure by then the few snacks we arrive...

I am concerned about the time frame it could take if we use WDW transportation from the resort to the port. I have a toddler and with a 90 min ride to Port Canaveral from POR, going through security and check-in, it'll be easy 2 1/2 - 3 hours later - he will be STARVING without something to eat...
