    7 & 8 on the Family Beach, have a great view of the ship. It is in the middle of FB, but we never had trouble with others bothering us.

    This is based on, our past experiences. Gingerbread houses on Christmas cruises, cannot be taken off.

    We have went to the Blue Lagoon twice. Never did the swim/encounter things. Just went for the beach day. There are lots of loungers/chairs, hammocks in the trees, sand volleyball courts, and a nice lunch area with good food. I think your basic excursion cost includes lunch.

    We actually prefer the smaller 2 ships. Less people to deal with. We cruised early Jan. a few yrs back and had fantastic weather. Water was coolish, but NOT cold.

    5 of us (3 adults/2 kids) stayed at Park Inn by Radisson on Broadway. 2 Queen beds and a roll-a-way. Buses right there, city train a few blocks away.

    You are correct. She will be able to go as long as she is 17, the day of her b'day, they will not allow her back in.

    I'm pretty sure the gingerbread is made in the kitchins. It was fresh and had a very good flavor. Not at all like the cardboardy stuff you buy in a box.

    We really enjoyed the, Museum of Anthropology at UBC. The youngest granddaughter (8 yr old) got a little antsy, and wanted to just rush thru the last half, but the rest of the family loved it. http://moa.ubc.ca/visit/ Older granddaughter and I are going back in May.

    You are incorrect. Non-alcoholic Specialty drinks are a charge. Room service FOOD, is FREE, Room Service soft drinks, are canned and a charge. Bar drinks are ALL a charge.

    There is a large variety of teas at the self-serve area. All FREE!! Also, coffee, hot chocolate, milk, along with the sodas. Juices are Free, but inside Cabanas.

    Fountain drinks are Free at the self-serve and in the restaurants. Canned drinks are an upcharge. Room Service and the Bars only serve canned drinks! Any alcohol/non alcoholic special drinks are charged.

    We have sailed several times in late June/early July. It is warm, but there is almost always great breezes in the islands, making it very bearable.
