That is soooo funny! We have 2 labs. Our daughter has 1 lab. When her and her hubby go away her lab comes and stays with us! It's always in the summer so we call it Camp Labrador! All three of them swim in the pool so at night they sleep like babies.

At each water park you have the option of reserving in advance one of their cabanas! Being you r going in August you should have plenty of time to reserve one. That way you can join your family at the water park and still be in the shade.

I think where you stay in Sarasota Springs depends on if you have little ones with you. If you have little ones then, you want the Springs or Paddock Area for the activities at those pools. If you want a quiet pool and closer to DTD then I would recommend Congress Hall. :)

Pets are NOT allowed in the cabins in FW. They are only allowed in the RVS section of FW. There is a pet boarding kennel at Disney. Off hand I do not know the name. If all else fails, call your local VET. A lot of times they will board for you. Good luck.
