    Which rides are the best?

Mummy and Spiderman are my Universal favorites. Mummy is in a class by itself. Just a perfect ride.

Use the lockers for the roller coasters!!!

I understand using a locker if you have a bag or something, but I've never lost anything out of my pockets on any ride. Not sure how this happens unless your pockets are completely full, or you don't check for things hanging out before you sit down and strap yourself in.

    Transformers Area Music...

Yes, that music used is from the movie soundtracks. Not sure of the song names, but the composer is Steve Jablonsky and I think the albums are available on iTunes.

Would you enjoy universal if you werent familiar with the story lines?

I am not really a fan of Harry Potter. I've never read a book or seen any of the movies. My wife dragged me to one of them and I slept through it. But I will say that Forbidden Journey is an amazing ride. So you don't have to be familiar with the material, as long as you love rides.

Honey I Shrunk The Audience or Captain EO

As an MJ fan, I'm just glad I got to actually experience Captain EO at Disney World. I also like Honey I shrunk the audience, but I don't think I could've done in again because of that preshow. That Kodac preshow was absolutely brutal to sit (or stand) through and it was totally unnecessary.

    Monorail question

I wonder if there were ever any plans to extend the monorail to the other parks.

    Enchanted Tales with Belle

Make sure you find out if all the animatronics are working before you stand in that long line. The wardrobe (which we heard was the best part) wasnt working when we went in December.

    Did Not Like New FantasyLand...

I'm not going to compare New Fantasyland to WWoHP. But what I WILL do, is say that it was kinda disappointing considering the extraordinary hype. I also think it was a giant fail to open when the main attraction that takes up most of the freaking area has another year left before it opens. It's...

    Sum of all thrills

I've ridden both. If I had to guess I'd say you'd probably fit in FJ before Thrills, because Thrills is completely enclosed. Journey is open in the front. The seats for both are probably around the same width, but you have to try the test seats to be sure.

Poll: Which are you more upset about...Jaws or Back to the Future?

Another one that I never got to ride but wished I did.

Poll: Which are you more upset about...Jaws or Back to the Future?

Back to the Future for me, simply because I never got the chance to ride it before it closed. I've ridden the Simpsons several times and I can certainly see why BTTF was so loved. JAWS not so much. I rode it once 2 years ago and I doubt I would've ridden on it again unless I visited the park...

    Broken Rides

Thank you! I finally found someone who thought the BOG food was less than stellar. I can't speak for dinner food, but the lunch my wife and I had was bad.

    Transformers soft opening

Any educated guesses as to when Transformers will soft open? Wife and I just got back from Universal, but we plan to go again in a few months. Problem is, we won't be able to visit in June or July (or the rest of the year for that matter), so we're planning to go around mid-May, and we're...

So how were the crowds for December 15-22?

Last week was our third time we've gone to Disney the week before Christmas. This time was noticeably more crowded than previous visits. We never had waits longer than 5-10 minutes before (with exception being Soarin'). Most of our waits were between 25-40 minutes for this visit. Crowds...

    Opinions about Test Track 2.0?

I've never done Toy Story (the lines have been way too long each time we've been there), so I can't speak to that, and I also wasn't that impressed with the new Mermaid ride (another basic MK dark ride). I certainly wouldn't call 2.0 a downgrade, there are several things that are improved over...

    Opinions about Test Track 2.0?

I say that because it seems like people are not allowed to be disappointed with this ride.

    Opinions about Test Track 2.0?

Apparently Disney can do no wrong in some people's eyes.

    Opinions about Test Track 2.0?

A n00b here. I've only ridden Test Track twice. Once before the update, and once after. Both my wife and I were disappointed and enjoyed the original better. I think the inside track portion just looks cheap now, it appears they just cleared everything out, painted everything black, and put up...
