2.5 days!!!!!

I've been watching this forum for a couple months now trying to come up with ideas for our first cruise next week. This is what we came up with ... A 4 coasters for the adults and a Mickey style frame for the kids. We're hoping that these will be lasting mementos from the trip that people...

How are people adding in pictures? I wanted to post a pic of the FE gifts we made for our upcoming cruise but I can't seem to figure it out ...

Hmm, I thought it was dear son. I figured the could ink get 4 in a cabin, so they got an adjoining one and put a teenage son in there. Who knows ...

Btw - we told them as planned on Valentina's day. They ran all over the house collecting the 5 clues which led them to the cruise packet in the toy box. They were crazed (my son more than my daughter at first. I think it took some time to sink in for her). I video taped it and it was awesome...

We were t planning on packing extras. We're already tight on space.

That's awesome! We are definitely going to video tape them. We're doing pretty much the same thing as you except in reverse. We'll tell them about the cruise on Valentine's day and then after the cruise we're heading to WDW for another 4 nights. We're planning on just getting them on the bus...

Glad to hear I wasn't the only one lost with that ... DW = Dear Wife DH = Dear Husband DD = Dear Daughter DS = Dear Son The gifts can be gender specific (i.e. Princess stuff for a girl) and since some names are gender neutral (i.e. Pat) or perhaps unfamiliar it helps avoid confusion.

There are a couple threads in he forums on homemade FE gifts that might help give you some ideas. This is it first cruise too and that forum really helped me understand the concept.

I hear ya... I can't wait to tell the kids. Our current plan is to have a scavenger hunt. Each clue leads to another and each clue has a word on its back. Altogether the will add up to "look in the toy box". In the toy box will be a basket with various things for the cruise. Including a...
