We make a point of eating here every trip we make. We have done both breakfast and dinner and enjoyed both, but we prefer going here for breakfast (love the cheesy hashbrowns). We feel as though it is worth the price. We usually go to one of the last seating times, and do not eat lunch on this...
Doesn't sound crazy! :thumbsup2 As long as the boat times work in your favor (i.e. don't have to wait long time) then it seems reasonable to me.
Have fun
If that is the only time its showing, then give yourself at least an hour.
You don't want to send somebody for food because they are not guaranteed re-entry. If fantasmic is that early i would just eat after the show. Grab a snack at the show (popcorn or something).
We did Mickey and Minnie. My son and I were Sorcerer Mickey and my wife and daughter were Minnie Mouse (classic look). Lots of fun and got some great pics. Got many complements on costumes also.
A must do for our children (us too :)) is the animation station in DHS. Its one of our favorites in all the parks. The kids always have a great time and they get a "free" souvenir.
MK: Haunted mansion, Pirates, all mountains, Carousel of Progress, Buzz Lightyear
AK: Dinosaur, Everest, Safari
DHS: Animation studio, Rock n Rollercoaster, Toy Story Mania
EPCOT: Test track, all Countries
Everything else is just gravy!
Voting for backpack. We have always carried one and have never regretted it. We carry water bottles, camera, sweat shirts, snacks, and ponchos. Also carry video camera, band aids, hand wipes, and any souvenirs we pick up along the way. Love it. We have used the same backpack each time we have...
Never done Sept but loved going in November. Weather was perfect. Never rained at all during out trip. Yes it was chilly at times but was worth it. I guess if your looking for warm weather where you can go swimming everyday or want longer park hours than do Sept. But if comfort is #1 then go in Nov.
Blizzard Beach is our favorite. Seems to have more to do. Mostly centrally located on mountain.
But if your party can't walk up many stairs all day, then Typhoon Lagoon may be better suited.
Either way you will enjoy!
A few years ago we told the kids that we were doing a beach vacation in Maine for a week. We packed up and left the house early and were just about to approach the exit for the airport and we sprung the surprise on them. It was priceless.
Our son started crying (4 years old at time) because...
The usual strategy for seeing both of these rides would be to send family to Test Track while someone runs to Soarin' to get fast passes. Then that person would rejoin the rest of the family at Test Track and wait in stand-by queue. Soarin always has longer wait times than Test Track.
They do usually open rides early for "soft openings" in advance of the official re-opening. We experienced this a few times over the years. I would say to go ahead with any park plans as scheduled regardless of Space Mountain re-opening.
We just had the same dilemma. We went to Downtown Disney and ate at the T-Rex restaurant (make sure you make a reservation). This killed some time and we spent the rest shopping and milling around. Got back to hotel pretty early for an early rise the next day. It worked out great!!
This is one of our favorite things to do. The entire family has a blast. We try to do it at least twice during each trip.
I am the worst artist in the world, and my kids get a kick out of how good the artist's drawing comes out compared to mine !!:goodvibes
Would recommend this to everyone!!
