    Tropical Hideaway

We were just there last week. We LOVED the veggie and chicken bao and did not care for the loco moco bao. Definitely get the spicy sauce. And the pork lumpia is AMAZING.

Has anyone had success booking dining? I mean......for the love of churros!

I miss the days when you could still book just about anything a week or two out. :-(

Lamplight Brunch or GCH Grill Lunch?

Thank you! I'll keep my reservations at LL. We have eaten there previously (2 years ago) and had spotty service and thought the lobster nachos tasted fishy, so my husband is hesitant to go there again, but I have assured him brunch will be a different experience. :flower:

Lamplight Brunch or GCH Grill Lunch?

I am interested in both, but if you had to choose only one of those two options, which would it be and why? Thanks!

For past pass holders...how far were you from the parks?

We live north of San Francisco, which is usually a 6-7 hour drive. We typically fly the past few years and would go 3-4 times a year for 3-4 days at a time.

"Alfresco" means outdoor dining, so I believe this is all out on their patio/terrace with a limited menu. I haven't been yet, but that's how I'm reading it.

Darn, then that likely means I missed out. Trying to find a ressie (lunch or dinner) for 2 any of these dates 9/15-9/18 and I don't see any availability.

Masks back at DL starting July 30

My husband also has difficulty hearing, and while he's not quite ready for hearing aids just yet, he makes up for his hearing loss by reading lips, so this poses a challenge for him as well. We go in September, so I'm sure I'll be doing a lot of translating for him when needed.

***Official SEPTEMBER 2021 Check in Thread

Hi! We are taking our first trip since 2019, which is crazy because we *were* AP holders and used to go 3-4 times a year (from the Bay Area). Sept 15-19, Hyatt Regency OC

Question for those who have seen F! at DL and WDW - Hollywood Brown Derby package question

Do you need reservations for the lounge or is it first come/first serve? We may decide to do appetizers and drinks instead of a full meal, since we're going during food and wine.

    ADRs Today- Pleasantly Surprised

We also had our ADR window open up today for the 2nd half of our split stay and we were also able to get everything that was on our list and almost all at the times we wanted. Super happy! This is our first WDW trip, so I am excited!

Question for those who have seen F! at DL and WDW - Hollywood Brown Derby package question

We just booked ADRs today for our first ever WDW trip this October. We booked Hollywood Brown Derby Fantasmic lunch on our HS day, but I am thinking we can skip it, since we have seen F! at DL many times. Any thoughts on the show or the restaurant? Any other recommendations in HS?

That's great to hear (about Boathouse)! We are planning to do Boathouse for dinner another night. :-)

    No more lotion...

I keep the little ones from hotels in my purse to use on the go. Disney lotions are my favorite though.

    DxDP and Fantasmic Package

So, you're able to use your dining credits from the DxDP to pay for the Fantasmic package, but they don't give you the drink/app/dessert that would normally come with an ADR?
