Been here all week and I think it's been fabulous. We hit RD every day and left the parks between 12:30ish to 5:00. Using easywdw's recommended parks and touring plans, we hit everything we wanted and never waited in line for more than 20 minutes.

I've been here all week and haven't needed bug spray once. I have heard that it might be needed at some of the resorts (POFQ and POR), but haven't used it at the parks at all. I did bring some OFF wipes that I tucked into my park bag so I wouldn't have to carry around a can of spray

I rent from Florida Sun Vacation Homes and they allow flexible dates. I am renting from Friday - Saturday without a problem.

Everything I've read about going in August says to expect rain, so that's what I have been planning for. I also have been tracking the tropical storms and there is nothing indicating Orlando will be affected by anything other than the typical rain at this time of year.
