Forgive me if this has been answered, but are there any other activities besides MHP on Halloween? We arrive that day and I didn't go ahead and by party tickets. Anything happening at Downtown Disney or the hotels?

Are you talking about the Islander? If so then it's a longer walk than you think. Places on Katella don't seem too far until you've been walking in the park all day. Then it seems like miles. Just my opinion garnered from previous trips.

Does any one have any idea of how much busier it's going to be with the cheer competitions going on? We are going to be there the 1st-3rd.

You can watch the parade online and see what parts (if any) might scare your child. Then you can be ready to distract them if necessary. My 2 year old loved it though!
