Anyone stayed at Stagecoach RV park in St. Augustine on the way to WDW?

We've stayed twice. Last time was one night on our way up to Tybee Island for the New Year. Place is clean and pull thrus. Good Sam. Sites are unpaved but fine. Ride to historic area is about 15 minutes. I recommend it.

    Parents, please have some courtesy......

…..and don't have your children take up bar stools at Crocket's Tavern. Besides taking up valuable space at a bar that only has room for about 6 persons, the bartender would much rather have a customer that is spending $$$ on drinks and not a child drinking water with their computer tablet on...

    Safety at the Fort

to ilovedineymm: There is nowhere really safe for kids these days besides in your own home. Unfortunately, Disney is a very popular place for pedophiles due to parents having this romantic fantasy that all is pure and bright. Just look at how many times we see sickos on the news that were...

    One week countdown!!!

Fried chicken and French fries (Giddyap and go) at TrailsEnd. I don't think anything else matters.

Is anyone getting as turned off as I am?

One thing I haven't read from the responses is any poor reaction to the removal of the drum corp in Epcot. To me and my family there is no prouder American moment in Epcot than to be standing in front of the American Adventure and hear the flutes and drums coming from around the corner. Then...

Is anyone getting as turned off as I am?

Sorry..that was my mistake on the parking. It seems it is for valet. I just assumed (you know what that means) that when they get the lot built that they were gonna start charging for that, too. Glad to know I'm not alone in my disappointment.

Is anyone getting as turned off as I am?

Just for some background.... I live in Florida and have been going to Disney for over 40 years. Recently, though, I've noticed changes that are turning me off to want to visit, or spend my money there. For example: * the fastpass+ thing and having to plan before you go. *...

    Campgrounds near Disney

^ What above said. We have stayed at the Kiss KOA twice in the last two years. Nice large sites and great staff. Would highly recommend. Fifteen minute drive to the World.

    Site Selection Stress

Do what SuperCamper says. Worry about it when you get there. Every site has it's benefits. Some people swear by the Little and Big Bear loop. Personally, I can't stand how tight that loop is. I'd rather have a full hook up, hands down. The sites are huge and the loops are more laid back...

What "Extra" would you budget for?

I vote for no park hopping. With a 9 and 6 (if they are like mine), they're gonna wanna stay in one park. Save your money and use it elsewhere. Nothin' like buying a drink, or four, and sitting on the porch at Crockett's while the kids run around the playground.

    Night before campground?

The KOA mentioned above is Kissimmee KOA. Have stayed there twice in the past. Very nice, clean and most are pull throughs you don't even have to unhook since you'd be leaving the next day. Restaurants within walking distance, too.

    French fries and side dishes

Ok! Sorry so late, but i had to come to the Meadow for wifi. All sides are for sale in either small or large. Didn't bother to ask for prices since "price no matter " in Disney. Sorry, Wyo, but I.m only good for one request. Yours was too much for a guy on vacation.

    French fries and side dishes

We will be there in sixteen days and our first meal is always the "Giddyup and go" fried chicken with those yummy french fries. I'll be happy to ask......if you could wait that long.

WDW bans sex offenders from theme parks

I'm all for this. But Disney will still allow the male couple to wear shirts that read, "Who's up for a B.J.? (Bear Jamboree).", and "Sweat is my pixie dust". Try explaining that to your eight year old. My kids are never out of my sight in my own yard, much less a crowded place like Disney...

Good luck. I don't think that the loss of privacy is worth the money saved. Especially with a complete stranger. Am I the only one that finds this a little ? Probably. Maybe I'm just anti-social.

    Gym in The Wilderness Lodge

We stayed at the Fort this last weekend and I used the gym on Saturday. The young lady just looked at my room key and said, "Ok. You're good." I assume it's available to Fort guests also. Maybe there's a number sequence on the card identifying you from other resorts.

    I've heard it all.....

Thanks, Bama Ed. Weather was great. No sweating, no freezing. Crowds were just as expected. Only did Epcot on Saturday and the wait for Living with the Land was 30min at 9:45am. I've never seen it NOT a walk on.
