Had dinner there tonight (Sunday). Yuck. There are so many good options at Disney Springs and this was terrible...reservation "lost" in their computer (but to their credit they seated us right away anyway), carpet/floor was filthy, over an hour to be served COLD food (ick), 90 minutes at the...
We went last night. The Christmas light necklaces were $15...available all over the place. If you are a passholder buy in a store & use your discount (rather than a cart). The party specific pins (there are several) are $17 at the emporium.
I tend to believe easywdw. We are local and most of the Central Florida schools will be back in session the 5th or 6th so very few locals there on a school night. I'd stick with your plan :)
I say take her with you. In just a few years she'll be out of your house and you'll be wishing she would want to vacation with you. Happy Anniversary! :goodvibes
We were at MK today. Got an A&E fp this morning on the app for 12:40-1:40. Arrived at 1:05. The wait from getting in line to first princess photo was 47 minutes. 75% of the line (in my estimation) was mad and complaining...a lot), the other 25% (myself included) were happy to have a chance to...
Ruthie,
Thanks so much for this post! I would not have known who to call without it. Called this a.m. to make a switch and they could not have been nicer. :goodvibes
I happened to check the app a few days ago looking at wait times and I remember thinking around midday, it is SO hot today (we are local) I wonder how long people are waiting for Mine Train in this heat?! Answer...at the hottest part of the day about 40 minutes. Maybe a new strategy?
So, we are locals with annual passes. We don't book our fastpasses 60 days out because we sleep at home. :) Today, after our first 3 FP+ were used, we were able to get FP+ for Anna and Elsa for 2 of us (me and 6 year old daughter, husband did not care).
Only posting because I've read 87...
First trip - yay!! :) We've lived here 14 years and if I were you I would choose May. September is VERY hot/humid here. VERY. May will be warm, maybe hot. But Sept will be hot for sure.
Since you have 5&7 year old girls, I'll tell you the things that are my 6 year old daughter's faves...just suggestions. For dining, Cinderella's Royal Table, Chef Mickey's, if they like Stitch the character bkfst at Ohana is fun, too. And keep checking, people DO cancel reservations. If you can...
Definitely make some time for AKL pool and Kidani water play area (and take the van, it is a long walk). September is HOT here and those are 2 really fun water/pool experiences :)
We LOVE Ohana for dinner...and if your kids like Stitch, the breakfast is great! I would seriously reconsider skipping Ohana. And no matter what, day 4 dinner will be their fave :)
If you're interested in Cinderella's Royal Table, you can order (ahead of time) a chocolate slipper for her dessert. It is a nice presentation with your child's name written on the plate in chocolate. Like $12 or $15, very reasonable by Disney standards.
We had lunch there last Friday as part of the fastpass+ test. It was really nothing special in my opinion. If you do go, please make sure that your daughter understands ahead of time that Belle will not be there. There are so many other special dining experiences at WDW that would be more fun...
