The cost can vary depending on the time of the day. Sometimes later in the evening they will have it half price. I think that started at around 8pm. Or you can buy the tickets ahead of time on something like Undercover tourist. Tickets on there are $43.90 for adults and $38.90 for kids 3-9...

Me, DH, DS (5) and DS (16). Aug. 25 -30 at POR.
Second year in a row for this week. It went so well last year that when Disney offered me free dining for the same week I jumped at the chance. Last year we did a split stay between ASM and AK. It was awesome, I...
KTTW card may not work either. Last August when we were there they had just started the magic bands and my husband's KTTW card had a problem every time we went into the park. If they can give you both, that would probably be the best bet.
When I did the photopass last year (very similar) as long as I had linked everyone's photo cards to my account I was able to get all the photos on my disc. I wound up with 800 photos from 7 days. It was awesome.
Last August we had Tusker house reservations about 30 mins before opening. When we got done we were able to ride everything we wanted (and Everest several times) before 12. I wouldn't use any FPs for AK.
I did it last year with my son. I didn't time it but it seemed to take about 1/2 hr. But the parade was later (I believe only once a day) and we would have had to come back to participate. So we didn't
I didn't realize that it had been excluded. They let me book it for free dining (granted mine was a week earlier then the general free dining because of a previous visit). But the guy did tell me when I called to book that I was lucky to get it cause it would go quickly.
We did a split stay last Aug. I wanted to stay at the AKL and it was just too expensive for the whole week. So with 9 people, we stayed the first 4 nights at the ASM and then transferred to the AKL villas a 2 BR. Disney brought the luggage over for us. I had booked ASM through Disney and then...
When we did the Jake package- it was exactly the price that was quoted. The only additional costs I could foresee is if you wanted pictures or things such as a sword or something not included in the package.
I took my DS on ToT last summer (he was 4) and I thought- we'll only do this once. He loved it and drug us on again. Depends on the kid as to how they'll react. He enjoyed it more then us.
so I've been itching to get back to Disney since our trip last Aug. But with all the other trips in the last year my hubby was not agreeing. then the magic came and they offered free dining to me for the last week in Aug this year. That was all I needed to push him over the edge. WooHoo.
I never thought we would be able to stay at AK in villas because of the cost but I wound up renting points through a reputable site and managed to get it significantly below any of the discounts Disney was offering. You should definitely look into doing this as you can probably save money.
I just bought a couple of kids tees for 8 dollars a piece for my son. Adult tees were 12.
I've been doing this same thing and have found that periodically they will have a sale on something I want and I buy that then.

I would like to share my story with you. You draw your own conclusions.
I was 19 when I had my first child. I married his father and about 2 years later got pregnant again. Only I miscarried at 4 months pregnant. We tried for over a year to get pregnant again. As time went on our marriage...
