Tell me about signing up for Jedi Training Academy

I don't know first hand, but I believe somebody earlier in this thread mentioned that sign-ups began at rope drop on EMH days as well. So 8am (or before) on an 8-9 EMH day.

Expedition Everest and the Hair Bands

Read the title of this post and was hoping to learn that Warrant, Winger, Stryper, or maybe even Poison would be performing at Expedition Everest. But apparently "hair bands" means different things to different people... ...so disappointed.

Disney's YACHT & BEACH CLUB RESORTS Information & Questions

First time staying at BCV coming up next month. (3/26-3/31). Can anyone tell me if there is seating at Hurricane Hanna's other than at the bar? If not, I guess it's bar seat or lounge chair?

    Jiko or Sanaa

Jiko is more mellow & upscale. That's not to say you couldn't take the whole family and have a great meal. My wife and I ate there recently (while the kids were hanging out with their grandparents) and the food was superb. Also a good beer selection and a comprehensive wine list.

    Ohana dinner tougher than expected!

I booked first thing in the morning at 183 days out and could only get an 8PM for December 4th. I didn't realize it was that popular either. It'll be our first time there. But I'm looking forward to seeing the fireworks/electrical water pageant from either the restaurant or the Poly beach.

    Breakfast at Animal Kingdom

We enjoyed Tusker House for breakfast. Mostly because our 5 year old was into the characters, but also because it's a buffet with quality food, some of which is African-inspired. Too much food?...On vacation?...No such thing. :)

Best FOOD at a Character Dining experience?

And from now on i will steer clear of Hollywood & Vine at the Studios. We were there for lunch and everything seemed to taste the same. That is, to say, like air.

Best FOOD at a Character Dining experience?

I'll agree with Tusker House being a good breakfast. And while i usually do prefer a buffet, i gotta say i've enjoyed breakfast at Cinderella's Castle both times we've eaten there. Maybe not worth 2 table service meals on the dining plan, but very good nonetheless.

    Renting DVC Points

We just booked through David's for the 3rd time. The first two trips were flawless. I would highly recommend his service. You pay a couple dollars more per point than if you were to buy from a DVC owner directly, but for that couple dollars David's service does all the work for you. The...

Need unique but not weird baby boy names.

Our 5 month old (who was recently at Disney World in utero) is named Declan. We were also considering Porter, Julian, Brody, and of course Phineas.

    Riding with a 1 1/2 year old

Mine will be just over 18 mons. I'm hoping he enjoys it. Right now at about 5months old he can already watch almost half of Finding Nemo without pooping or barfing! I figure that's a good sign! ;)

    Riding with a 1 1/2 year old

I was hoping that was the case. I never really took notice while i was there if kids that age were riding. Thanks. Now if i can just get the next 14 months to go by a little more quickly...

    Riding with a 1 1/2 year old

I've been to Disney World the past 2 years while my daughter was 3 and 4 years old. However, when we go in Nov 2013, my son will be 1 1/2. So i'm wondering what the riding situation is at that age. Is he ok to ride with an adult on any ride without a height restriction (within reason)? For...
