Official Disney Cake Chatter - Part IV! (2012-2016)

Hi everyone!! I've ordered a few custom cakes in the past, but always through the Contemporary. My family has an ADR at the Minnie holiday buffet at Hollywood and Vine in a few weeks, and I was thinking of requesting something through there. Most likely a 6" fondant covered minnie themed...

I vote Epcot too for the 4th. Saw them last year and they were amazing.

Official Disney Cake Chatter - Part IV! (2012-2016)

Not quite sure. I think it is dependant on where you are ordering first of all (I ordered through Contemporary with Chef Brian). If you order through Comtemporary it may be about the same; the cherry blossoms may increase the price a bit, but I'm not sure. Only way to know for sure is to...

Official Disney Cake Chatter - Part IV! (2012-2016)

Hey guys! Love that ordering a custom cake at Disney is an option! This is the third one I will be ordering. I had great success with the first two (both through the Contemporary) and hoping I can say the same for the third. Well, my grandfather is turning 90!! He is an avid golfer, so I...

OFFICIAL Disney Cake Chatter Thread - Part III

Hi Folks! Just booked our next disney vacation for the end of June/early July. We don't really have any birthdays or anniversaries to celebrate this time around, but I've ordered custom cakes the last three visits, so I feel like it's tradition! Anyway, we just recently found out my...

OFFICIAL Disney Cake Chatter Thread - Part III

Hi all! Another successful custom cake from Disney! We were celebrating my friend's 29th birthday at Be Our Guest Restaurant, so I went through Magic Kingdom cakes. They were quick to respond by email, both when ordering and confirming. I asked for a 6" chocolate cake, with peanut...

    trouble with fastpass+ reservations/annual pass?

Having just come back from WDW on Monday, I can tell you the whole system is still very glitchy! It took until the last day of our visit to get all of our fastpass+s in order. I was told by guest relations that it was indeed because of our annual passes and the fact that they don't have their...

OFFICIAL Disney Cake Chatter Thread - Part III

Hi Everyone! I ordered a custom cake back in April and neglected to share the pictures. It was absolutely gorgeous! My parents were celebrating their 31st Anniversary, which happens to be represented by timepieces, hence the clock. We were staying at Bay Lake Towers, so I went through...

OFFICIAL Disney Cake Chatter Thread - Part III

Thanks for all of your help, as always! I ended up going through Hollywood Studios to have them delivered for their ADR tomorrow at Sci Fi. The woman I spoke with (Linda?) was such a big help! She is going to arrange for 3 Easter cupcakes to be delivered to my three beautiful nieces and quoted...

OFFICIAL Disney Cake Chatter Thread - Part III

Thanks for all your help! Maybe it's me, but the number listed for Saratoga doesn't seem to work? I tried just calling the main number and the CM who answered did not quite understand what I was asking for and transfered me to my brother's room! I am going to try again later on today. I...

OFFICIAL Disney Cake Chatter Thread - Part III

I was hoping to possibly surprise my three nieces, that are in Disney right now, by having cupcakes delivered to their room. However, they are staying at Saratoga Springs, and I see on the info page that you'd have to pick up your order at Artist's Palette. Anyone have any experiences where...

    Merida meet & greet

Not sure if this was just for character training purposes or if it is a permanent location, but when I was there in December I saw her meeting and greeting near the International Gate in World Showcase, right outside GB.

Performers You'd Like To See During Eat To The Beat (UPDATED Page 2)

Does Sister Hazel pretty much play every year? I know they're Florida based, so it seems appropriate. I go on their cruise every year and the boys can rock!! :cool1:

Rides or Resorts that need 2 be pitched or updated.

I knew someone would bring this up! Carousel of Progress is such crowd-dividing ride; you either absolutely love it, or can't stand it. I happen to love it. Only downside is that the theme song is always stuck in your head for days after!

What foods would you put on your list of best things you've had in Disney?

Well reading this has made me thoroughly hungry, but I have to add the Pork Belly in the Bershire Pork Entree from Citrico's to this list. I would have never thought to order it myself, but it is melt-in-your-mouth delicious! The whole dish is delicious, but the pork belly really stands out!
