BRAND NEW CORONADO SPRINGS FAQ THREAD w/ PHOTOS (PART IV)

JamesLynn, considering the drought y'all have been suffering, the rain is awesome. I'll take more during our trip in early June - it just means ponchos and less heat!

BRAND NEW CORONADO SPRINGS FAQ THREAD w/ PHOTOS (PART IV)

I have a question for all CSR experts (especially JamesLynn): We booked the 4/3 deal for June 6-13. We wanted to stay one more night, so we booked a room only reservation on the 13th. Needless to say, although we know we have to check out and back in on the 13th, we'd really prefer to...

Add A Room Only Day To Package Ressies

I have a tendency to make things out to be more difficult than they really are, so hopefully y'all can straighten me out. :upsidedow We are booked on the 4/3 package June 6-13 at CSR. I'm so excited I'm about to bust. Now, for the complications. I had booked ME as part of the package...

    How is it this week?

We spent yesterday in Epcot. Pretty decent sized crowds for this late in August, but quite manageable. The biggest difference we noticed (Besides all the downed trees) is that gasoline is very hard to come by . Sunday we waited in a 70-style gas line at the Hess in DD (they later ran out of...

HURRICANE INFORMATION (AUGUST 15, 2004): All parks except TL are OPEN

We're leaving nashville in a couple of hours, driving, but we'll be spending overnight in Atlanta. The Weather Channel needs to take its Ritalin, they are in breathless hyper-emergency mode! They make me nervous! Anyway, somebody mentioned a minute ago that the govenor hasn't yet decided...

It's good to know that several of the people from the Travel Channel special post here at DIS! You guys rock! I noticed you said you'll be in the World next week - we're also going next week -- to celebrate my 40th birthday! So if someone approaches you and yells "DisneyDave!", don't be...

    Typhoon Lagoon crowds?

Your afternoon strategy is a good one. Whatever everyone else does, DO THE OPPOSITE! :smooth: MOST people arrive at opening, fight over lounge chairs, and are wiped out by 1:00 . There is a mass exodus about this time. The only downside is it's hotter than in the moring - but hey, you're...

What is your favorite (moderately priced) WDW restaurant?

For us, it's definitely Trail's End and Fort Wilderness. It just makes our day to take a break from MK, take the boat over to FW, and have an all-you-can-eat buffet of good-ole Southern comfort food, just like mama used to make! To top it off, it's always our least expensive "sit-down" meal!

A few more questions about Cypresse Pointe

Dancemom - WE'll be at CPR (the old side) at the same time as you, celebrating my 40th birthday!:bounce: Maybe we'll run into each other!

Places to stay overnight in Lake City

Having decided at the last minute to celebrate my 40th birthday in WDW the week of Aug 15-22 :bounce: , reality is setting in and arranging things is turning out to be a harder task than I had thought. Getting down there from Nashville is hard to work out. First, we aren't taking advantage...

For those who leave the parks in the afternoon...

You can't get me to sleep during the day (I don't care HOW tired I am, it's just the way my body is). I find a good shower invigorates me for the evening's events. The kids love to swim, too.

I want no new EPCOT countries.

I would LOVE to see a new country! Personally, I'd like to see Korea, but I'm biased: There's no good place to get Korean food anywhere in WDW! Europe has enough representation. Of course, you would think the Suits would add...

    Just back - Quick Impressions

Just got back from a wonderful trip. I'll be posting a trip report, but here are the hightlights: We drove down, stayed at CYM DD from the 10-15th. I-75 was not that jammed, and the only construction we saw from Nashville to Orlando were just south of Dalton and just noth of Valdosta. Even...
