I get extremely seasick. I always have the doctor prescribe the scopolamine (sp?) patch. I have tried to do without and on mild days the Bonine suffices but I find that the patch is the only thing that works for me on rough sea days.
We stayed in one of these on the Fantasy. We were in the most forward stateroom of this type. Unfortunately, it also meant we got the brunt of the wind and spray. Also, because we were on the port side there was a lot of teen traffic heading for the club. Not sure if that is the same as the Dream.
My daughter was able to get in. Not all the games are working and she hasn't seen the monorail yet. She is very excited though and was able to make a room. She found out about it through Instagram. I really hope Disney sees how popular this game was and continues to be. My daughter is 13...
Another vote for the chicken parm! I know people think what could they possibly do to chicken parmesan to make it so special. You only have to try it to believe it.
I was enjoying this thread until that last crack. Over the years the DCL forum has turned from helpful cruisers to the most critical and judgemental bunch of complainers I have ever heard! The only person who should be judging me is God above. I would give anything to have my parents sitting...
The cortisone shot worked for me although I would recommend having it done several weeks before your trip. I had it done only three days before a trip once and I was miserable! The shot is extremely painful and for several days after.
I have had two microdiscectomies. Each took a good 8-12 weeks of recovery. Your doctor will prescribe physical therapy which helps but a trip to WDW will most likely set your recovery back. Have they tried the epidural steroid injections? Those may hold you over until after your planned trip.
We may be canceling ours as well. My DH might have made do with the electronic cigarette but they have banned that too. Since we have to fly to San Juan anyway, we may just spend the week there. I'm sure the non smokers will be thrilled.
Also the kids might like Atlantis and their aquarium. There should be a thread on here about the best way to do that because there are so many options with that.
It is included however you are confined to the stingray area. You cannot use the equipment elsewhere. We had about 30 or 45 minutes to snorkel with the stingray after the feeding portion of the excursion. I enjoyed it as I couldn't see much in other areas anyway. Other areas tended to be more...
I prefer the family beach. It is more protected. With the weather as unpredictable as it is, I found on several occasions that it was way too windy at Serenity Bay. I honestly can't remember any issues with the rocks. That being said I do prefer the BBQ at the adult beach. Less chaos!
They were complaining about crew in buffet uniforms eating next to them at the buffet while on their breaks. Unfortunately, I think it was an issue of "class". As far as I am concerned the complainers are the ones with no class.
I was reading a discussion on FB about passengers on another line being upset because they had to dine at the buffet with crew members. I was just wondering how people here on the DIS would feel if Disney started doing this.
I think the motion is the same whether you are forward or aft. There seems to be more vibration aft, but I like the location for proximity to dining. If you will be spending more time in the adult only locations then forward may be for you.
