    You soak it in water and it is supposed to keep your insulin cold for a minimum of 45 hours, even in an environmental temperature of 38.8 Celcius ( 102 F). I just googled their website to make sure I had those numbers correct.

    I don't know about freezing ice packs, but have you seen insulin cooling cases? They look a lot easier to deal with than having to fetch ice packs back and forth. I've even thought about getting one to protect our epinephrine on extremely hot days.

    :-( Thanks for the info. I wonder if calling special diets would help? Even the Enjoy Life cookies that are pretty common at WDW these days (at least in our usual restaurants) would be better than nothing for my son.

    Colonial Williamsburg Hotels

    I stayed at Embassy Suites in Williamsburg last July while taking some continuing education at William & Mary. The rooms were comfortable and nice, and there was a wonderful breakfast included every morning.

    January/february pool question

    DS and I tried to swim one evening this past Jan in the hippie dippie pool at Pop which is "heated." We only lasted about 5 minutes before DS's teeth began chattering.
