    December Hotel Rates

Try searching priceline express deals and limit to 4 and 4.5 star hotels in the Universal Studios area to get an ideal of the lowest price you can expect. The onsite hotels are the only 4 and 4.5 star that come up in that area. Rates are usually lower the more days you book.

    Best price on tickets

I purchased mine from a military ITT office today. $135 for third day free park hoppers, they would have cost $147 online. Not much of a discount, but every little bit counts.

Is an Unofficial Guide touring plan still necessary with FOTLP during busy seasons like winter holidays or does FOTLP make them unnecessary? Thanks.

    Best price on tickets

I'd like to know this as well. From what I can see, purchasing the tickets online from Universal seems to be the best deal. I would love to know if you can get a better deal at military bases or grocery stores.

Universal's new dining plan is totally worth it!

The official link doesn't mention frozen Butter beer under snacks unless it counts as an ice cream novelty. . . I hope it is still included. The other snacks don't sound that great. https://www.universalorlando.com/Restaurants/Universal-Dining-Plan-Quick-Service.aspx

    Pics of the NYE craziness?

Off topic-but thanks for the photos. These photos are easier to interpret than the weather forecast. I'm headed there in the morning, and I threw more warm clothes in suitcase because of these photos. I didn't know it would be that cold.
