    Nintendo coming to Universal?

A terrible tragedy, he was genuinely a great guy and really cared for the company. I wonder if this will affect anything regarding Nintendoland? Probably not too much, but new leadership could lead to new developments, for better or worse.

    DisneyQuest Closing

This was to be expected. DisneyQuest never brought in much of a crowd and currently is too old and outdated to make what would have to be a very costly refurb justified. It's full of poor simulators which would look right at home on the PS1 or N64. Sum of All Thrills at Epcot can do everything...

    Pirates of the Carribean refurbishment?

We went on this ride about a week ago and it's in bad shape. Not only was the projector or sound not working for Blackbeard, the fog didn't come out at all. It was just dead silence for about 8 seconds until the Mermaids showed up. (I love that effect by the way)

    Nintendo coming to Universal?

I think this will take over either Marvel Island or Toon Lagoon. I think it's a great idea, and as a huge Nintendo fan, I'm excited! They have some smaller IP's like Star Fox, Kid Icarus, and F-Zero that would make good thrill rides. As well as things like Bowser's Castle from Mario Kart 8 and...

Remodeling River country with concrete swimming holes

From all that we know, there was no point in keeping River Country alive any longer after 9/11 cut down tourism a whole bunch. They shut it down "temporarily" like a lot of things at the parks in order to cut costs (Pop Century was one of them, the planned 10's-50's area where Art of Animation...

    Disney developing live action Mulan

I guess that's the reason why she's being put into Disney Infinity 3.0. The past Live-action princess movies have done fairly well financially, I guess this shouldn't be a surprise that they would make another.

    Good Riddance

I have to say, i'm a bit nostalgic for the hat. I'm one who never experienced the Studios without it, and it's a bit sad for me to see it go. I know my opinion isn't very commonly shared in the community, but I hope they don't just destroy it. What I want is for it to go somewhere else, I...

Indiana Jones Stunt Show will possibly close in Jan 2015 (Memorial page)

I like the show fine, but I wouldn't mind seeing it go. It is a very old ride that takes up a lot of space. It's a good show, it's fun and entertaining, but it isn't something that I would be mad to see go.

    Gravity falls returns

This show is brilliant, and i'm sure season two will be worth the wait!

Jingle Cruise= Same ride with holiday puns.

That doesn't mean they didn't miss an opportunity, this could have been a slightly large re-theming, nothing more than a few decorations. A new breath of air for a very old attraction.

    Jurassic Park ride drop

I've only been on Dudley once not to long ago, but I still remember it being a lot more intense and me getting more wet than on Splash Mountain or Jurassic Park. Dudley also has a bit more suspense for the drop, maybe it's just because I hadn't heard much about it, but at every turn I would...

Jingle Cruise= Same ride with holiday puns.

I don't know if i'm missing something, but I was rather disappointed in the holiday Jungle Cruise. They had announced it, while not big, large enough for a few tourists and Disney Fanatics to hear about it. I got excited for it and yesterday got to ride it. The queue line was a bit...

Beauty & The Beast show at DHS going bye bye

I don't really care for the B&TB show. It's pretty boring, and just something you do when waiting on Fastpasses. I would be rather sad to see American Idol go though, it is a pretty fun time waster. I've been there every time we've gone to MGM. No two shows are alike, so you can never get bored.

    Tropical Storm and Disney

Just yesterday I saw a motorcycle crash from rainy roads, the guy was next to a hospital when he did thankfully, but still.

What are your percentage odds that Avatarland actually happens?

Cameron is never happy, he wasn't happy with Titanic or Avatar which were both critically acclaimed films. To think he would be happy with this is a long shot.

What are your favorite Disney villains?

Scar, Maleficent, and Chernabog are my favorite.

I can't stand the new WDW website...link to old?

Sadly, I don't think you can get back to the old layout, as the links change as well.

I want to introduce myself, does anyone remember Bentleygirl22?

Well, I'm her son. I came on this site around 2006. I planned on making trip reports like her, but never got around to it. I've met a few people here, and now I feel as I should make an account. ( I don't know if this is the place I should put this topic.)

    Epcot Rumors...

Personally, I would like to see a rollercoaster there.

Rides or Resorts that need 2 be pitched or updated.

Muppets needs to be redone, and with the sequel to The Muppets coming out,it can go hand in hand with the movie. Adventureland needs as many new rides as it can get. The only reason to go there is POTC, to finish Sorcerers, and if you really like it, than Jungle Cruise. I personally think...
