Stayed at POFQ last year and didn't notice that many Pop Warner groups staying there. Saw some of the Cheer groups in the parks but they were all well behaved. They did close DHS early one night but otherwise they didn't have a negative effect on our trip.

Yes you will have to transfer buses. You'll have pick up a bus for AKL lodge at any one of the parks. I would leave at least an hour ahead of time.

The dining plan is too much food for me. If you prefer to know how much your food is going to cost before your trip I would purchase the dining plan. It doesn't save you any money unless you are going to eat a lot of buffets and also choose the most expensive things off the menu.

The jalapeno margarita is strangely delicious if you are looking for something different.

It's a full service restaurant that only serves dinner. There is a counter service also at POR just down the hall open for all meals.
