    CoP revoice (not a rumor)

My almost 7 yr old has loved it since her first time at 3 1/2. It is iconic so I'd hate to see it go even though I don't necessarily share her fervor. Wouldn't mind Tom Hanks except that I'd be thinking Woody. :)

Which Restaurants in Epcot can you see Illuminations from?

Agree with the previous post. The brand new Spice Road Table is supposed to be good too.

    Where is Sophia?

She was there on and off for a big part of the day. You should still be able to catch her in the afternoon. The line was too long for us to bother (not ridiculously long but we've done so many M&Gs in the past that we rarely do them anymore), but I think I remember seeing her there up til...

New to disney. Character dining help

We also liked Tusker House but I would vote for Chef Mickey's. They've got all the classic characters and the monorail running through is pretty cool to the kids.

    Feedback on Dining Choices?

Planet Hollywood is definitely not my fave food. My favorite restaurant is Raglan Road at DTD. Best food we've had at Disney, great atmosphere, and fun entertainment. Their chicken dish is DELISH and the bread and butter pudding for dessert truly is outstanding.

    Fantasmic Dinner Package

We did both FP+ and dining pkg on 2 different nights a couple weeks ago now. FP+ wound up being a waste because the line wasn't huge to begin with and once you get past the initial section, everything is in the same boat anyway. The dining pkg worked perfectly for us. We walked right up, our...

How Do We Tell Magic Bands Apart?

Actually, I'm pretty certain only one band per person is "active" at any given time. You can change them if you want to, but you'd have to stop by the front desk to do it. We had three sets for our trip too but only used one set. We'll use the same ones on our next trip too. Hoping Disney...

    Better Time to GO?

Probably around May for fall and much later for Feb. Feb 2013 was the first S/P/D. It must have been successful b/c they did it again this winter. September seems to get the free dining instead, but they could of course change that any time. I agree with the person who said there's no harm...

First time - Clueless on where to stay!

The only other thing that hasn't been mentioned so far I think is the "other" perks if you do wind up booking a discounted Disney pkg ... If you're looking for some fun things to do outside the parks, you'll automatically get some discounts and freebies with your pkg. For instance, you'll get 2...

First time - Clueless on where to stay!

I've stayed on and off property, and I'm a big couponer too. There is something to be said for the Disney magic and perks of being on-property. Of course, there's also something to be said for saving money. Here are a few more things to consider though ... At your time of year, you may well...

    Suggestions for non-theme park experiences?

Which BBB are you doing? When we've done BBB at the castle, it's nice to stay at the park and let the little princess prance around in the dress and soak up all the princess greetings. ;) My daughter loved it! Lots of great photo ops too. If you're doing it at DTD then that's different...

    Better Time to GO?

Regarding free dining ... the last two Febs have had Stay, Play, & Dine which winds up being similar in cost to free dining. We've used it the last two stays and it saved us hundreds over no discount. For the price of a non-discounted AoA room, you can probably stay at a moderate resort. And...

Which FP+ should I use at Hollywood Studios?

If you're not married to Sci Fi for dinner, you could take your chances on a walk up for lunch and make reservation for the Fantasmic dinner pkg. Then you don't have to worry about FP for Fantasmic AND you do get reserved seating. It also sounds like it's an EMH night. IF so, I'd do the...

Would you go to a Villains Dining experience?

I think it would be huge fun (and probably a lot of other adults would too), but I'm not so sure kids would go for it. I would think it would be kind of tricky to play the sinister and cruel part yet not frighten the little ones. I was curious how the Happily Ever After Dinner worked before I...

    Mine train ready by may

Interesting. As of my Feb trip, there were still plenty of walls up and they were working on the mountain itself. Looking through the little window, the track area looked very bare - like there was a lot of finishing work yet to be done. Anything is possible I guess. :confused3 I'm just glad...

    Better Time to GO?

It depends on the particular week and what type of weather you like. September would be much warmer than February. We love going in February because it's typically comfortable walking around and not very rainy. Water parks and water rides make no difference to us. If they're important to...

Which aspect of FP+ are you most bothered by

Good point! My first reaction when logging into the new system was that it was WAY too much foresight for the "average" guest. Sure I micromanage my vacation because I'm that kind of crazy, but most people I know barely get their ADRs done (and don't lose sleep over missing any), much less...

please help me pick my neighbor/friends ADRs!!

We love Rose & Crown Pub (and it's a great spot to watch Illuminations) at Epcot. At DHS, 50s Prime Time is my fave. Great comfort food in a fun atmosphere.

    Table Service at Hollywood Studios

50s Prime Time is my fave for food quality and experience, but I don't recall what their non-meat options were. For picky eaters, especially if you're planning to do Fantasmic, I'd probably go with Hollywood & Vine's Fantasmic dinner pkg since buffets always have something for everyone.

How Do I Get The Magic Back?

Last year we had our best Disney trip ever - fantastic start to finish. I had a strong feeling that this year's trip wouldn't live up to it despite my best planning efforts. We had a terrible first night (long story - no one at Disney's fault), then things went really well until nearly the end...
