It use to be a great secret of WDW but not any more. Great dinner and a good price (for disney prices) but it is more crowded now than in years ago so you best go early if you go.

Usually right after the new year they start taking them down. With so many to take down some take awhile but general rule is after Jan 1st they start to come down.

It's nice to have the large beach towel at the beach at cc or another one. But as others have said the problem is packing it along. We have done it both ways.

In our many times we have gotten very good upgrades twice and a minor upgrade once. Never asked, they just gave it to us. When I have asked I have never gotten one. But why not ask, I figure it cant hurt.

I beleive you are correct. I dont think DCL has changed. Hope this is still true.
