Being from HI, I prefer flying on HAL over any other major airlines. Here's a tip...when flying to Oahu, try to purchase a seat on the right side of the plane, you'll get to see the south side of the island (Diamond Head, Waikiki, Ala Moana, etc). Have fun!

I've been to DL during Bats Week (in May) and did not notice anything out of the ordinary. I would prefer going to DL on Sunday-Wednesday. There are significantly less people on the weekdays...short to no lines for the attractions.

I stayed at Castle Inn in the past & it was okay...nothing special. The room was clean and the staff were helpful. If I had a choice, I would stay at a hotel that is closer to the park or one that offers shuttle services. After spending the whole day in the park, I dreaded having to walk back to...
