    Xbox One help

I think we're going to be getting my sons (7 and 12) an Xbox One for Christmas. Any tips for getting deals on the console and games? I know they'll want Minecraft, FIFA, Star Wars Battlefront. I know they'll want the Live subscription to be able to play with friends. Thanks for any advice!

Kids keens on sale at REI.com

Just bought some Keen Newport H2 for my son at REI.com for about $25. Limited colors, but he liked the blue. We always pre-buy for the next summer, and this is the best price I've seen this year.

Dallas/ Fort Worth with a toddler

The Perot has a fun play area for toddlers. It was really the only thing my younger son enjoyed there at that age.

    Holiday World: Santa Claus, Indiana.

I am from Indiana but hadn't been to Holiday World until 2 years ago when I was back visiting family. As others have said, the water park is the highlight. My sister rented a cabana both times we went, and it was nice to have but not something I would have spent the money on with only older...

Anyone staying at nearby hotel to Toy Story lot use their shuttles?

We stayed at the Hyatt Place and used the Toy Story shuttle. I'm not sure if it saved us time over just walking, but it was nice to rest our feet.

How to "Save" my Magic Morning?

You're supposed to be able to ask at the turnstiles to make sure it's not removed. I don't have personal experience, but I know I've read of other people doing it. If it's not on there on Tues, I'd suggest showing your GC room key and explaining what happened.

UPDATED -- What order would you hit these rides?

I'd plan on Matterhorn single rider. With the set up of the bobsleds, it's not like you get anything out of being in the same sled. The Matterhorn line could already be quite long if they're there 15 minutes after rope drop.

    Radiator Racers/EMH DCA strategy August

I'd do Toy Story first. I'd check to make sure it's running before walking all the way down there. Soarin' can take a long time in the morning; it seems like often only one theater is running.

    Paint the Night Question

One person can definitely hold the spot with a blanket. I liked being by Small World. The first row sat, and everyone else had to stand 30 minutes before the parade. I think everyone across the street from where I was sitting was allowed to sit the entire time.

    Summer crowds in the morning

The DL EE aren't that great, in my opinion. Not that much is open, and lots of off-site guests are using their Magic Mornings. I'd probably do it once but not bother every day. We loved the EMH in DCA. It's a great way to get to ride Toy Story several times in a row. (Toy Story did have problems...

    Hyatt Place or Days Inn?

There were pancakes or French toast every morning, and I also saw sausages and scrambled eggs. Breakfast wasn't crowded early, but it was a zoo when we went down later on our non-Disney days.

    Hyatt Place or Days Inn?

We parked the car at the Hyatt Place at 7:30 a.m. and headed to the parks. I'm not sure we saved time by taking the bus to/from the Toy Story lot, but it was nice to sit! There was a long line for a bus when we left right after the fireworks, but otherwise we were able to get right on a bus...

    Hyatt Place or Days Inn?

We're at the Hyatt Place now. We're very happy with it. It's very clean and has a great breakfast. It takes us about 15 minutes to walk to the park, but we normally walk across the street to the Toy Story lot and catch the bus.

    Soarin' Over California Refurb?

I really enjoyed the cleaned-up version. The poor quality had really detracted from the experience in recent years, but it looks great now. The smells are definitely stronger.

What to hit first in the morning now that Peter Pan is delayed?

Matterhorn has been crazy. Alice has taken a little longer to build up. Definitely have a back-up plan; both were down when the park opened at 8 earlier this week.

Remember "Dancin With Disney" at Disney's Califorina Adventure?

We loved it. Great way to let the kids get some energy out and relax in the air conditioning.

I thought Innoventions/Marvel closed in March?

I saw Captain America and Thor yesterday. Both were meeting outside in Tomorrowland.

    TSMM glasses on a toddler

I let my son wear the glasses when he was 3. It's a short enough ride that I wasn't concerned.
