Thank you, Kim! I had never read you couldn't walk to each part so I'm very glad I asked. One day at Disney is sounding very daunting. If you could only do one park, what would you recommend that will offer the innovative and thrilling rides? I have researched each park and nothing really...
My son and I leave for FL next week. We'll spend four days at Universal and want to spend 1 day at Disney. I've never been there before. I tried to research it, but it is so OVERWHELMING. We enjoy thrill rides.
Should I just buy 1 day park hopper tickets?
Will we be able to do everything...
Do it...but only if you buy the express passes. I've attended one time around mid-October and the lines were quickly at 120 minutes. I purchased the express passes. By purchasing the express passes, we were able to visit every single HHH attraction within about 3 hours.
I've never been to Disney, and I'm not sure what a crowd 5 means. However, I did go to US/IOA in October 2012. I thought the crows were totally manageable. We did have express passes, however, even on like the Forbidden Journey where the passes couldn't be used, I think we only waited maybe 30...
I went in 2012 when the theme was The Walking Dead. I took my young son and neither of us were scared. However, content aside...the wait times are absurd. For that reason alone, I suggest not going. The first line we even attempted to get in was like immediately an hour wait. We had already...
When I went in 2012, there were parking attendants that directed you where to park. So you'll be forced to park where they direct you to. Obviously, the sooner you get there the closer you'll be. I'm not sure what happens when people arrive in the afternoon?
On the last day we went to the park...
On a whim, I just booked another trip to Orlando. Our first and only family vacation was to Universal in 2012. I'm so excited to be heading back. Whoo hoo.:)
We are staying off site at Drury. I purchased four days park to park unlimited express passes.
Does anybody have any experience...
Returned on Tuesday from US. First time there and first family vacation with my 9 year old son, and really my own as well as my parents never took me on vacation.
Stayed at the new Drury Inn - LOVED it - highly recommend it
Purchased 3 day Park to Park tickets with unlimited express pass for...
I do not think you indicated when you are going, but I wanted to point out that on the universalorlando website it lists many closures for the next two months.
Attraction Closures:
Universal's Cinematic Spectacular: No shows on 9/19, 9/21 - 9/22, 9/25, 9/27 - 9/30, 10/4 - 10/7, 10/11 -...
Hi,
I hear everyone say how staying at a hotel onsite is such a good idea for two days worth of express pass. I have 49 days until my vacation, and am trying to decide what is the right plan for the tickets. In this scenario I plan to be at US 10/16 - 10/18.
The below examples, does not...
Sorry to be a downer, but birds are tortured and killed for feathers to be worn in ones hair. I hope you choose braids, unless they are synthetic feathers of course.
I did not get any special ticket offers, but I did receive a special hotel offer a few weeks back that was unique to me. I signed up probably around February. I can say however, that I've visited their website many, many, many, many times and every time they've given me the option to take a...
Hi,
I have two orlando wait time apps downloaded. one doesn't look like it works at all, and the other doesn't seem to change much. Is there an accurate app that you know of?
Thanks!
I am planning a visit in October during HHH. I'd love to go, but my child is too young. Is the HHH event at both parks? I've never been to Universal, so forgive me. I'm expecting significant traffic around the 4:30+ range, so I'm just trying to figure out what we should do.
Thanks for your help!
Yes, The Point is a partner hotel. At the universal website (I'm a new poster so the site won't allow me to include links) go to the other hotel options section, and then under the moderate hotel selection, you will see The Point towards the bottom. The Point looks gorgeous for the price. And...
This will be my first year going to Orlando, but I've spent an embarrassing amount of time researching hotels. I was seriously considering The Point, but have decided to go with the brand new Drury Inn. Not sure if you already know, so I wanted to mention that The Point has a daily resort fee of...
