Teresa's elegant HTH idea should be art deco and not scary except on the 13th floor that would be twilight show/hitchcock creepy and feature a restaurant that would be creepy like the west wing room at the belle's castle restaurant. the bottom floor could feature a breakfast room with a...

    Still wishing for Japan

Does anyone know where I can write to the people at Adventures By Disney and ask about or plead for a Japan trip? I ask on here every few years, but no one ever knows if it's in the works or if it's a possibility. I'm wondering if it's not a popular request or if there's another reason a trip...

    Fans at Kmart

Kmart was selling misting fans for $2.50, just like Disneys, and non-misting fans for a $1. I got two $1. I live in Pensacola Florida, but maybe yours will have them. Much cheaper than Disneys, take AA batteries. I use them all summer for festivals or even at the beach.

Seeing Hidden Mickey's outside the park

Just flew from Montana to Florida via Delta. The wallpaper in the planes had a circle/swirl design that made perfect Mickey shapes in certain places. You know you're a Disney Geek when you find hidden Mickey's outside of Disney property. :P Ever find one somewhere?

What Disney Tip Are you really glad you listened to?

Glue. Bringing glue. Sounds weird, but we always have to E6000 something on a trip 0.o And ride lines wait times posted are usually shorter than posted. TSM once said 85 minutes; we only waited 45. The only exception is when you see a large group get in line in front of you.

I live here and never wear jeans except for when it's 50 or below. Just too hot.

    Packing tips

I always say nice workout clothes. Yoga pants or capris, nice tennis shoes, clean t-shirt or workout top. You're going to be walking 10 to 18 miles a day in heat and humidity. It's a marathon, so I say dress for it. That's what I do.

    MNSSHP or La Nouba/Cirque?

Neither. I know I'm being finicky but neither are worth the money in my opinion. Take your kid to Harry Potter land, SWW, Seaworld or Legoland for a day. Or maybe see the Blue Man Group. Just don't think Cirque or MNSSHP is worth what I paid.

    EasyWDW v. Touring Plans

I like touring plans because it has a great iphone app, but other than that, I love Josh's site more.

    Makeup for Disney!

I've lived in Florida since I was five and makeup in this weather is not bad for your skin if you use the right makeup. The humidity is good for your skin fyi cause it clears your pores and moisturizes your skin. If your from a dryer climate, your skin might freak out a bit at first and if your...

    We've had makeup...how about hair?

That's going to be a tough question to answer since every girls hair is different and reacts different. When are you going? If it's real hot, you may wear it up anyway because of the heat. Maybe consider using one hair product like a serum or cream designed for curly hair and the humidity that...

    Disneyworld and Thunderstorms

That's rarely a problem in only a few spots in the parks if it happens to pour for a long time like through the night, but yes it runs off quick. Disney has no desire to drown it's guests. In other words, it's not an issue. Watch where youre stepping and avoid puddles.

    Is MNSSHP worth it?

No. It's not worth the price. SWW is free and you get a lot more. Skip paying for MNSSHP and spend going somewhere else. If you're not a kid, it will be disappointing.

Going to WDW with no plan or strategy!

I think you can wing it pretty well if it's just adults and you know the parks well. I don't think it's ever wise to completely wing it with children or large groups. Two adults no stroller can get a lot done though winging it, especially with single rider lines.

Do you wear a lanyard or do something else?

I agree with buying a pretty lanyard. My ticket/room key/ifd card is also my credit card while I'm there. It's everything...so it's staying in sight at all times. Lanyards are cheap too even pretty ones.

    single rider

sometimes other rides with have cast members calling out for single riders to fill seats. Example: star tours. That's only if they need someone.
