    Transfers

I used ACE transportation in Orlando for a wedding cruise where we had 24 people and was very happy with them. They took us from the airport to the cruise terminal and back and the price was very reasonable, much cheaper than purchasing DCL transfers for each person. I believe their website is...

    ABC TV on board

We cruised in August on the Dream and I believe ABC is available when not in port, and the episodes are broadcast live.

    Cinderella's Royal Table - Breakfast

We went in March 2013, which was our second trip after a first visit in June 2012. The structure of the meals was exactly the same for us: pastries, choice of breakfasts (although why anyone would pass up the french toast I have no idea), visits by all of the characters, etc. The cast member...

    VGF and 2013 Dues

I was reading through the contract last night and it says that dues begin the later of the start of your use year or when the resort is available to occupy. They should be pro-rated.

Thinking of purchasing GFV - will prices decrease?

I think it is very unlikely the prices will go down. When I spoke with our guide to purchase VGF, she said the prices would go up in June to $165/pt.

Has anyone rec'd ME stuff 5 months in advance??

When we went in March we received our tags etc. insanely early. Maybe not 5 months, but definitely more than 3 months out. When we called for some additional tags, the person we spoke with didn't seem to believe we'd already received the original package.

    Reserving a Cabana

I don't know for sure about the HA cabana (probably your best bet is to try to reserve one online as soon as you're eligible to book port excursions, etc., and then call to let them know you need a HA one), but I can answer the other two. When we got married, we were only able to book at the...

    AKL Kidani Village

For adults, the Wanyama Safari was one of the most interesting/enjoyable things we did. Definitely worth it for us, not sure how kids would like it though.

Best place to eat dinner and see fireworks at Epcot?

We have made reservations at La Hacienda twice for 8 pm and been fortunate to finish dinner with a great view of the fireworks through their enormous windows. For Magic Kingdom, we made reservations at Be Our Guest for 8 pm and watched the fireworks from the bridge, which was really a neat...

Dvc is a giant scam!! Beware

I don't think DVC is a scam. After buying last March and having already spent an additional 8 days in the parks without "paying" for rooms that I wouldn't have otherwise, it seems that both parties are better off. I would agree with the assertion that DVC over-represents the availability of...

    Coral Reef for lunch......

We went there on March 12 and enjoyed the view and service immensely, and the food was very good as well. The crabcakes with chili aioli (sp?) were very good. The pricing is consistent with table-service prices.

    Universal's Express Passes

The Universal Express Passes are good for one "fastpass" on most rides on a specific day. Certain rides (such as Harry Potter) are excluded. They also have an option that is considerably more expensive to get unlimited "fastpass" access. More information is available at the Universal Website...

Convinced I Failed My Step 3 Board Exam

Almost impossible... I've never seen a resident fail, even those who say they got shut off during the computer simulation portion. If you made it through Steps 1 and 2, you're almost assuredly fine!

Tell me why I should change from 3 to 4 nights on the dream!

There's so much to do on the ship, and unless you plan on skipping Nassau (recommended) to enjoy it, 3 nights is not nearly enough. If you decide to dine at Palo or Remy you miss one of the main dining rooms, and they're each a unique experience that you'll regret missing. Palo brunch is only...

    Disney Dream - March 14-17, 2013

We will be there along with a couple of friends. Still trying to talk some more into going!

Big groups at Prime Time and Garden Grill

We had a group of 16 at PTC in June and were seated together at adjacent tables and a booth. It really felt like effectively two groups (one of 7 and one of 9), but they were very accommodating.
