the weather was perfect. No rain the whole time we were there. Low humidity and low 80's. Perfect for the pool in the afternoon and not too cold in the early a.m. and evenings (just had sweatshirts for the kids). We were in shorts the whole time.
It was a school break for us (in MN) and I'm...
We went in October but didn't get as many pictures as I had hoped so I did ask for a refund and got it. Was worth the chance to preorder (knowing I could get my money refunded) to save the $50.
Can't help you with the other questions.
Was our 1st time and it was great! Weather was perfect -- low 80's during the day, 60's at night. We wore shorts the whole time. Might have needed a sweatshirt 1st thing in the a.m. or in the evenings (my 7 year old got chilly) but otherwise, super comfortable and not too hot. Not a drop of...
Teva Mush flip flops. I did order them maybe a half size larger than my usual size and I wore them for a couple of months before the trip to get used to them. I rotated them with another pair of sandals and my tennis shoes and they were by far the most comfortable of the 3 pair of shoes. Wish I...
haven't reviewed the photos yet but am thinking that I want a refund already. We didn't utilize it like I thought we would. I thought they photographers would be all over the park and frankly, I didn't seem them much at all! We went to the parks for 4 days and didn't even get one shot the 1st...
We are leaving tomorrow and my son's godfather gave us cash for both kids for souvenirs and thought we might be able to get gift cards for them at Disney? I saw you can purchase them online but obviously there isn't enough time. I'm wondering if you can purchase them anywhere at Disney World...
We're headed there next week (10/19 - 10/22) and wondered if the hotel does anything fun/special activities, etc. that kids would enjoy? I thought I read something somewhere about movies that are shown? But can't remember where I saw that?
Thanks!
to save on time in the mornings on our way to the parks.
How do you go about doing this? I have a list on Garden Grocers -- do you have to call the hotel directly to arrange them to receive the delivery? Do they have a place to store the food since our flight doesn't get in until after 8...
Do you know which countries have the missions?
We're on limited time the day we're in EP and my kids are interested in doing it and also want to see the U.K. section -- wondering if we can kill 2 birds with one stone?
My 7 year old daughter is dying to go on it (the milder one -- green I think???) and DH and I tend to get bad motion sickness on things like the Tilt-O-Whirl. I was telling her that it was a ride for older kids but she is really disappointed that I'm leaning against going on it.
Opinions...
Our ADR is at Epcot that night and we aren't doing Park Hopper so we have to have that be our only park.
I know it will be busy -- I'm not overly concerned about hitting everything at EP. I think our kids will enjoy MK the best so we'll just do what we can!
But, I know... it will be...
1st timers going Oct. 19 - Oct. 22. Planning on Day 1 at MK, Day 2 at Epcot, Day 3 at HS and Day 4 at MK.
It's DH and I and our 2 kids (ages 5 & 7).
Thinking on MK day 1 we would be there for rope drop and just stay until mid-afternoon (3ish???) and go back to the hotel for a swim and...
Not sure I want to spend the $$$$ on getting a customized touring plan and didn't see one in the Unofficial Guide that fits the bill. Can we get by without a firm touring plan?
We're going for 4 days -- planning on 1st and last day at MK and one day each at Epcot and HS.
We plan on being...
Our plane doesn't even get in to the airport until 8 p.m. so I'm guessing it won't be too busy. I think I'll just wait until we get to the hotel since we're all first-timers!!!
Thanks for the info! :)
What are the benefits of doing this vs. just waiting until you get to the resort? Do you find out at that time what room you're in, even though it's really early/in advance?
Also, if I booked through a Travel Agent, is this something I can do as well?
Trying to limit our luggage for a 5 night stay (4 days in the parks) for 2 kids (ages 5 & 7) and DH and I for a mid-Oct. stay.
Guessing most of the time, we can wear shorts/t-shirts -- at least during the day. Hoping for some good swim time too when we go back to the hotel for a mid-afternoon...
