True.....until their team is eliminated or tourney is over. Then they will be able to exit the bubble and take their families to the parks (and maybe move over to stay in a nice suite at a deluxe resort). I imagine there will be quite a few NBA players spotted once eliminated or playoffs/finals...
My husband coaches our son’s travel baseball team and we always play in a baseball tournament on Memorial weekend. This year we are just home relaxing. I’ll miss being at the ballpark with our friends/teammates this year.
On our last trip, we visited Nomad Lounge. It was a scorching hot day at AK and we were all getting cranky and needed a break. It was sort in front of us when we stopped to decide where to get a break. It wasn't' busy and we were able to get a table/couch outside. We all got specialty drinks...
That is on my radar, for sure. We only have one or two Teppan grill restaurants near us and we've only gone a couple of times, but only for a special occasion. When I mentioned this restaurant to my son, it definitely piqued his interest. And my husband and I love that type of food, so it...
We have a restaurant that is similar to it near where we live, that we visit once or twice a year, so he may be underwhelmed by it....although I have eaten here before (not with him) and I loved the calming, relaxed atmosphere. It's definitely a great place to cool off and get a break on a hot...
I think my son would really like Biergarten. We haven't' tried Sanaa before so I'll keep it in mind. We've been to Boma but it's been a few years so it might be time to revisit it. He enjoys buffets. thanks for the reply
We are headed back to WDW next spring, after not having been there since 2017. On previous trips, we focused on doing lots of character meals. Our son will be 12 when we go and just informed me he doesn't want to do a lot of character meals but just wants to do "cool restaurants without...
We've gone in April a number of times (all the TR links are in my signature) and honestly, it's one of my absolute favorite times to go…as long as you don't go the week preceding or following Easter which I hear are absolutely crazy. I find crowds in April very manageable and have never had...
Really enjoyed this trip report. How were the park crowds during this time? We are planning on going to WDW in April 2021 and it would be during the same time frame that you visited in 2019. We always go in fall, due our work schedules, spring break is going to work better for us next year...
Following! Hopefully, Disney will offer some good discounts to attract travelers to the parks. Guess we will have to wait and see how it goes after they open back up and people start traveling again.
Thanks for letting us know. My DS did that cruise once (out of GF) and really liked it. Since this time we are staying at POR, we were going to plan on letting him do it again out of POR. I guess I'll need to make other plans. Thanks!
I would agree with that timeline. I think around April we will be able to start anticipating what types of discounts will be released. I'm also hoping for FD as that would work out best for my family too, but I would be happy with any type of discount. We will just have to wait and see.
This is the same week we are planning too. We haven't been in a couple years and I have received PIN codes the last two years, that I haven't been able to use. Crossing my fingers, I'll get another one or Disney will come out with a good discount.
What type of activities did your kids do? Can you tell me a little about how their evevning went and what they did? My son is 8 and worried he will be bored.
